## Description

The AT-LP70X fully automatic belt drive turntable is designed for budding vinylphiles, those who love the engaged, real experience of listening records, from flipping albums in the record store, to placing a record on the turntable, pointing the arm and sitting with album art in hand to enjoy warm, analog music just like the artist intended. Arguably the most important component for generating hi-fi audio from vinyl is a quality phono cartridge. Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for over 60 years, and we've taken advantage of that expertise to create a versatile, high-performance cartridge for this turntable, performance that other turntables in this class simply can't match. Integrated into the J-shaped arm, the AT-VM95C cartridge with 0.6 tapered pencil delivers excellent channel separation and low distortion for exceptional tonal quality. And the stylus can also be easily upgraded with any of the other styli (elliptical, microlinear, or Shibata) from our VM95 series, offering customization that is normally only possible on a turntable with a detachable housing and cartridge. The easy-to-use AT-LP70X plays 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and, with its built-in switchable phono preamp, can be connected directly to a home stereo, powered speakers, computer, and other components, whether they have a dedicated phono input or not. The three-piece anti-resonance chassis provides a solid foundation that dampens unwanted noise for improved sound quality. Noise is further reduced by the inclusion of an AC adapter that moves the AC/DC conversion out of the chassis to limit its impact on the signal chain.
