A Dragon Ball fan’s greatest dream is getting to live in the Dragon Ball universe and fight alongside Goku and his friends! One particular fan is in for a rude awakening when he suddenly dies and gets reincarnated as everyone’s favorite punching bag, Yamcha! A Japanese high school student is on his way to a Dragon Ball event and makes a detour to hit on a cute girl. Unfortunately, he meets with an unfortunate and fatal accident before he reaches her and, to his great surprise, wakes up in the Dragon Ball universe as Yamcha! Being a Dragon Ball fan, he knows exactly what misery awaits him as Yamcha, so he takes matters into his own hands and vows to make Yamcha the strongest Dragon Ball character ever! Review: Great story, beautiful art style. Starring Yamcha (or someone reincarnated as him)! - Absolutely love this little yamcha isekai. Won't spoil the story, but if you love dragon ball, you will adore this! Nothing to complain about, all perfect. As you can see in the images, the images are amazing quality. Please make more spin-offs like this! Review: Sparkling, intriguing, and short - One of the coolest non-canon reads there is! The story is refreshing and made me finish the comic in one read. Can Yamcha change his destiny? And will he succeed in marrying Bulma? I loved the plot, the drawings and how everything fit together. The only issue is that it is way too short, leaving so many potential aspects untapped. They should have made it a 3-volume story or something alike. But I recommend it to any Dragonball fan! ## Features - Warning:Do not use near overhead power lines. - New Store Stock ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | 155,016 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) 97 in Nonfiction Comics & Graphic Novels for Young Adults 663 in Humorous Fiction for Young Adults 3,025 in Magic & Fantasy Graphic Novels | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 971 Reviews | ## Images ![Dragon Ball: That Time I Got Reincarnated as Yamcha!: 1 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81cCjavUUwL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great story, beautiful art style. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun Dragon Ball Spin-Off Story *by H***A on 15 May 2026* Very enjoyable manga with a creative and funny idea for Dragon Ball fans. The concept of being reincarnated as Yamcha makes the story different and entertaining compared to the main series. The artwork is good and the humour makes it fun to read, although it feels more like a side story than an essential Dragon Ball manga. ## Frequently Bought Together - Dragon Ball: That Time I Got Reincarnated as Yamcha! - Sand Land - Akira Toriyama's Manga Theater --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/67948751-dragon-ball-that-time-i-got-reincarnated-as-yamcha-1](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/67948751-dragon-ball-that-time-i-got-reincarnated-as-yamcha-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
