Review: A great soundbar with the additional benefit of Alexa built in. - The Command bar offers great technology for the price. The sound (primary purpose of a soundbar) is very good, its not eardrum splitting nor can it replace a true surround sound system, but if you want a good quality product at a very competitive price, then this should be on your shortlist. If you want the added benefit of Alexa and being able to route your Fire TV through the bar then it should be at the top of your list. This product certainly enhances the sound from any flat screen TV, the wireless subwoofer means that it does not require cables stringing from the main device and provides a decent level of bass without being overbearing. I am very pleased with my purchase. Only down side being that the USB port does not seem to be powerful enough to power the new 4K Fire TV and so one has to resort to using the power adapter and cable provided with the 4K Fire TV, a bit annoying as this means another cable to lose , but certainly isn't a game changer.

**Q: Does the Command Bar do everything an Amazon Dot or Echo does?**
A: The Command Bar supports nearly all Alexa commands and skills. Features that are not supported include Alexa voice or video calling, drop-in, notifications and messaging. It is always learning more.

**Q: Can the Command Bar control my TV or cable box with my voice?**
A: You can control the Command Bar functions with your voice including volume, bass levels and source selection. You will not, however, be able to directly control your cable box such as selecting a particular channel.

**Q: Is Fire TV included?**
A: While Fire TV is controllable by the Command Bar, it is not included in with the Command Bar and is sold separately.

**Q: Will the Command Bar work without Alexa?**
A: The Command Bar operates like a normal sound bar even if Alexa is disabled or your home network is down.

**Q: Will Alexa hear me when the volume is loud?**
A: Command Bar’s microphones should be able to hear you even when the volume is loud. If Alexa can’t hear you, there’s an Action Button on the remote that temporarily lowers your volume so you can speak to her.

The Command bar offers great technology for the price. The sound (primary purpose of a soundbar) is very good, its not eardrum splitting nor can it replace a true surround sound system, but if you want a good quality product at a very competitive price, then this should be on your shortlist. Wow...just bought this from Amazon - even better at a refurbished price - and the sound quality is absolutely remarkable for the price. The separation of sound and the base is stunning. Great value. I was shopping for a Sound bar and was pleasantly surprised to find this product which is recommended by Which? magazine. Alexa is a bonus. The wireless subwoofer is not intrusive and adds to the sound without being dominant. Very pleased.
