Trixie Wooden Exercise Wheel for Rodents 33 cm Diameter 1 Unit

I like the fact that this is large, but the build quality is certainly lacking, the bearing used is pretty poor and doesn't allow for a smooth movement, the wood as expected is just cheap softwood and ply, but it does do the job so it's okay I guess

Our Degus eat though it in 3 weeks the last Degu's I had had one for two years has the material changed anyway this one just breaks easily

We had previously purchased a 28cm wooden wheel and it was so quiet and we were really happy with our purchase. Unfortunately this time round the quality of the wheel and sturdiness is not quite the same. The wheel is unfortunately noiser too.The hamster love the wheel so that's great but we are less satisfied this time

Wheel came broken but luckily I do have a glue gun. Will try to fix it

Bought the medium wheel from another seller and was sturdy, as soon as I took this out the box I could see it nearly touching the base, it had a really big wobble around the bearing area, as my hamster will chew it to bits soon and I can diy I prised the hub holding the bearing off the wheel, it's got so much play in it I don't understand how it got through a quality control.I decided to also take a part my other wheel to swap parts between the them, the bearing quality was much better so will glue this to big wheel.Quite happy to pay for quality rather than cheap rubbish, thankfully I'll have it all sorted by tomorrow but would rather it just worked better for my little hamster

Had to sand the part between the wheel and stand as the wood kept catching, my hamster couldn’t really turn it due to the wood catching. Once I sand it down a bit it was quiet and working great.

I used to have the smaller version of this wheel and it was the quietest wheel I've ever had, and I've gone through absolutely tonnes. I bought this wheel as my Syrian got bigger, however it was slightly faulty. I wasn't sure if it just needed tightening or something so I messaged the seller and they just sent another one out straight away without asking for a picture or anything! I thought it was really nice of them, and hopefully the new wheel is as silent as their smaller one, as these are so well built and my hammy loves the wood, so I don't want a different one.

I was a bit sceptical in buying this as it only had 3* and a lot of the reviews were not that good. Tbh I only read the reviews after I ordered the wheel 🤦. But it arrived in less than 10hours as I got in just before the cut off for next day delivery. It is huge. Yes it is made out of ply wood, there are no rough bits that need sanding down. It is extremely quiet Nd not more hearing hammy doing a marathon each night. Glad I took the chance.
