Would recommend 100%.Having used Norton over the last few years, this latest version with the additional Norton Utililities and 5 license is a good deal from here. The only let down is the rather 'project fear' endorsement which Norton tries to include. This is the "Exclusive Norton Offer" - Enroll in Auto Renewal Service-to tie you into a higher price on renewal. Sneaky to miy mind. You can circumvent this by signing up to it it, then go to your Norton Account a few days before expiry (say after 360 days) then cancel the renewal. Thus you will be able to renew her at discount.Anyway onto the install, its fairly painless:Go to:1. norton.com/setup (takes you to your account. If you haven't got one, set it up here)2. Enter the product key (inside RIGHT page and follow instuctions3. Click on Norton NS Downloader (from your top right of browser) and download4. Choose "run" which will download your application and install it (It may need to reboot)5. Let the programme do a "deep" scan of your PC and leave the other optionsto Auto. You can go back and change them to your taste afterwards.Next is the Norton Utilities(A very comprehensive set of utilities, a must have at this price. Does everything including clearing out old registry files, recycling bin-there's even an excellent Deep Scan Disk Fragmenter).1. Get onto internet and type "[...]2. Click to download utilities app.3. Click agree on download4. Let it reboot your PC if it needs to. (Let it do another deep scan then use the one click optimisation button to clear all of your clutter. It even has a "bleach" setting which very securley removes all trace of internet history and helps to keep your surfing safe).There are lots of settings in NU, take your time setting them to your advantage. As I said atthe beginning, a very sound and worthwile package that goes way further (in my humble opinion) than free antivirus apps and gives you a money back guarantee if it can fix a problem! For anyone still struggling with the 'automatic renewal' problem, I just checked again. Just go to My Account at the website and login, then switch off automatic renewal, it's still there, still an option to switch off. Suggest you buy the Free Utilities option, as this is really useful.

I've been using Norton for years on my PC, security is just a necessary part of protecting yourself when surfing the net. Unfortunately. I find it does the job really well and I find the user interface is very friendly, even for a less tech savvy person like me.I always renew my Norton sub. using a key bought from Amazon (Usually it's about half the price of renewing directly on line from Norton themselves).In terms of installing, it's very straightforward; if you already have Norton, simply click "renew" at bottom of Norton page, add the 20 digit code, and log into your Norton account when prompted...away you go.If this is your first time using Norton just go to; manage.norton.com, to set up your account and once done you can install using the simple prompts.Recommended

Excellent product. Good value. If you are buying it as a first time user then it’s excellent. However, if you are buying it to renew an existing licence then you need to ensure that you don’t install it until just before the old one expires, otherwise you will lose any remaining days on your old licence. These can be recovered if you contact their tech support team. Unlike other products of this type on the market, there is no way of entering the new licence code in a way that adds it to the end of your existing licence. This appears to be because they want you to renew your licence through them - at their prices. I only got round the problem by contacting their tech support, via a chat line. I was then asked to send them the new licence code and they merged the new and old licences together. It’s a bit of a clunky process but it ensures you get the best value from your product. Another point to remember is that once you have installed the “Utilities” software that comes with this product you never have to buy that add on again it is yours in perpetuity on the machine on which you first installed it. That said Norton is an excellent product and I have never had any virus, malware, or other technical problems since I started using it for all my (5) devices.

I purchased Norton Security Deluxe 2019, to use on my new AIO desk top computer, on the advice of a friend who is an expert in IT. I am reasonably competent in using computers, but found the installation of the software, far from straight forward. It was overly complicated, first to set up an account, then download the software before finally entering the key code supplied when I purchased the system. I will not be renewing it when the year's subscription is due. It works ok in daily use, but I am not impressed.

It's renewal time again and this year when my current antivirus expired, I was lured away from Norton with a free offer from a rival brand. However the free subscription only covered three devices and when I tried to activate it on my laptop I found it wasn't compatible with my operating system. After using it on our more up to date tablet and android phones, it was time to look for single device cover just for the laptop for which I headed back to Norton without hesitation.This is good value for just one device. The information is clear about which operating systems it works with so I bought it with confidence. The activation code was sent to my software library on Amazon instantly. It was then simply a matter of going back to the Norton website to download and activate the product. Since then it is doing its usual effective and unobtrusive job of scanning and performance monitoring.Simple, quick, secure and more environmentally friendly than ordering by post.
