Access to the SIM card tray is not possible while this case is on the tablet so you'd have to remove it to gain access, but I think that's acceptable since you rarely need to access the tray. The case is huge, just like the tablet but works well as a stand and to protect your tablet from scratches. I've only had it a short time so don't know how well it will stand the test of time but it's very nice so I'm thinking of buying a second one to use when the first one wears out.
