Easy to install with YouTube video. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far so good *by K***D on August 24, 2025* Appears to be working fine. I didn't know if our old one was working or not but, while I was switching out the defrost timer, I figured that I would switch out the thermostat while I was at it. We have an old Kitchenaid Superba that's over 20 years old and it's never had any problems until some defrosting problems where the drain in the freezer was clogging with ice. Then, after clearing that out, only about half of the freezer was cold and the refrigerator wasn't cooling. After installing the two new components, everything seems to be working fine again. The old wires on the thermostat were brown and pink and the new unit has black and red. I did some research and everyone with the question of what wire to connect to which were answered that, in this case, it doesn't matter.
