Pureology Reviving Red Shamp Oil, For Red & Copper Color Treated Hair , 8.5 oz

I love this shampoo and conditioner. I feel like it's kind of gotten a few unfair bad reviews. This is not magic shampoo people. Red is a really hard color to take care of, however this shampoo and conditioner does a great job at preserving the color. I notice a heck of lot less of my precious red color washing down the shower drain when I use the shampoo and conditioner. Not only does it strip out a ton less color than most other salon shampoos/conditioners that I've tried, it smells amazing! It almost has a citrusy kind of grapefruit smell that I think is amazing. It keeps my hair looking shiny and preserves my color. As I said this is not magic shampoo so if your red is looking a little orang you may need to try a color deposit shampoo once a week to bring back your color between salon visits. This shampoo and conditioner is a great buy!

This shampoo is a bright clear red color and smells nice and fruity, although I’m not convinced it does anything to make your color richer, my hair looked exactly the same after trying it multiples times over multiple days.

I have used this about three times now after shampooing my hair feels so stripped! The conditioner makes it feel soft again. The red color is nice to keep in my hair however the bottle is SO TINY for 30 dollars or more is crazy to me as I have long hair and a little doesn’t always go a long way. Make the bottle bigger for the purchase price and I’ll continue to try.

This shampoo was alright, but there was nothing about it that made it special for red hair. It just seemed like a normal Pureology shampoo to me, which is still good quality, but nothing special for red hair.

this shampoo (shamp'oil) does not add color, and i can't tell if it keeps my color fresh longer, but all the pureology shampoos and conditioners i've tried are terrific. i like products for red hair, whether they do anything specific or not, because i love my red hair, other people's red hair, and all red hair. this anti-ginger prejudice is nothing but jealousy! we're 5% of the population and we are as special as can be! i will continue to buy the shampoo and conditioner. i trust pureology. it's pricey, but it's very very good!

I have used Pureology products almost exclusively for over 11 years and this shampoo is not what I have come to expect from the brand. After the first use, I could tell there was something different, but tried it for two weeks just to give it a fair chance. This shampoo is very drying and does not help maintain my red tones at all. It actually seems to be stripping my hair instead! I did not purchase the conditioner to go with it, but my hair does not feel like it needs conditioner with any other Pureology shampoo. After rinsing out this shampoo, my hair felt dry and 'crunchy'. It would take me a while to get my usual Super Smooth conditioner worked in and combed through before my hair began to feel normal and soft again. I've gone back to the Super Smooth Shampoo, and unfortunately, this is going in the rubbish bin.

I had my hair dyed red, and I was tired of the cold showers to keep that red in.I usually buy the shampoo from my stylist, but I bought this and used it with luke warm water to rinse. it does keep the red!

Makes my hair feel incredible for days! I love not watching my red hair color run down the drain when I wash. The color stays truer much longer. When my hairdresser first recommended it, I was skeptical, but now it’s all I will use.

Made my hair oily and the shampoo did not clean my hair as expected. I love other Pureology products, but I would not order this particular one again.
