It fit on the D-shaft of the stove hood blower motor. You can measure the shaft diameter with micrometer. If your motor is a DC type. It will turn in either direction depending the polarity. Also the blade went on either way **Q: I was wondering. Does the amount of blades matter? So will a propeller with 5 blades produce more wind than one of 3 blades?** A: Air velocity has more to do with the angle/pitch of the blades and the RPM. Flatter blades tend to have lower air velocity but higher static pressure.
