Mattel Barbie I Can Be Splash and Spin Dolphin Trainer African-American Doll

This toys perfect for my daughter. I love the fact that retail is attempting to create great role model toys for minority kids and girls in particular. My daughter just happens to be obsessed with dolphins. When my wife saw this toy choosing it was a no-brainer. Now my daughter loves it, she plays with it constantly!

Cute ethnic Barbie! The fish are pretty pointless, they are tiny and the bucket won't even hold them with the piece of paper that looks like water at the top of the bucket. I would suggest throwing them away before your small children even see them. Don't loose the flippers, they are what keeps her from sinking!!

We bought at a retail store for much less than the price on amazon. My daughter loves that it is a Barbie with the same skin color as hers, though I wish she had curly/natural hair. She also has enjoyed the accessories (dolphin, whale, little fish to feed the animals, a training pole, a whistle, etc.) She and her brother also enjoyed using the mechanism that makes the dolphin & whale do flips in the little water tank, but it doesn't seem very sturdy and I think it will not last long or they will lose some of the little pieces to it. For that reason, the review is 4 stars not 5.After a few weeks of use, Barbie's head broke off. Also, her feet are too large for any Barbie shoes, which was very irritating to my daughter. So dropped rating from 4 stars to 2 stars.

This is a great toy that really works! Fun in the pool or the bath.
