The walls dried out completely and the damp hasn’t come back. Now I just run it briefly each day, usually after showers and in the morning, and it keeps everything under control. It’s clearly doing exactly what it’s meant to do.Noise was something I was slightly concerned about, but it’s much quieter than I expected. Even on full power it’s very quiet. With the bedroom door closed you wouldn’t know it’s running. I could comfortably sleep in the same room with it on full, and silent mode is even quieter. You’d have to be a very light sleeper for it to be an issue.This is the first dehumidifier I’ve owned, but it’s completely transformed a room that felt damp and unwelcoming.
