A: Yes...There is also a retention  screw to adjust it..

**Q: Can I use this for my P238 magazines?**
A: I wouldn't, there will be a lot of a gap. This mag holster is for double stack mags

**Q: Will this work for the fn fnx-45 magazines**
A: It works fine with all my double stack magazines

**Q: Can you buy just the paddle? if you already have the mag holder with the belt clip**

Item arrived on time. I have been researching a double magazine holder for a while and took a chance on this one. The magazines (double stack) fit nice and snug. The pouch clips on my belt and I have no worries of it coming loose. I would have given it 5 stars if it had come with directions for adjusting the tension for the belt clip but it's not too hard to figure out. It does have adjustments for tension and position giving it a good range of options for placement and position depending on what you are wanting and needing. Overall a solid product and I would recommend it to anyone needing a pouch like this.
