Works wonders
My cats actually enjoyed taking this supplement, daily… After taking in some feral/strays to TNR, and the viruses that may vine with them, I placed all our of them (and our house cat) on the L-Lysine for 3 weeks ti boost their immunity… It worked wonders… Now it’s time to replenish my stock for the next round of kitties in need.

Good stuff!!
Read some reviews that the product was changed and some cats don't like the taste. I can tell you my cats love the taste. As soon as they see it, they start to follow me around. Very satisfied with purchase.

It’s good for them
I add this to my cats’ food. They don’t seem to mind the taste.

Cats love the taste!
I didn't even have to put this on my cat's paw. I just squeeze the required amount into a dish and she immediately licks it up! Before this, I tried two different kinds of Lysine treats, both which were rejected (money wasted). But this paste is very well accepted. I'll be buying more.

Great kitty supplement
UPDATE when I got my new tubes the formula has changed, the once fabulous supplement my kitty would hound me for has got him literally running from me. What ever they did to it my guy wants nothing to do with it. It seems to look the same maybe a little more of a clay color. I can't smell anything but obviously he can an hates it.My indoor kitty was having a runny nose and some weeping eyes so after much research I found this product. My super finicky 10 year old lived it and wanted more from the first serving. I did not have to put it on his paw, he wanted it right out of the tube. Within a week his nose and eyes were back to normal. I've decided to keep this as a regular part of his wellness routine. He's been taking it for a couple of months and I've noticed he's a bit more playful and is awake a couple more hours a day. I have recommended this to a friend who has outdoor kitty with the same issue, and it helped her older kitty bounce back as well.

Lysine Paw Gel for Felines
Recommended by my vet to treat weepy eyes in my Persian cat. The cat will lick it up (so he must like the flavor) - and it's improved his eye condition. Win win.

My cat will eat this!
The vet suggested that I give my cat about 500 mg of Lysine twice a day. I started with treats - 500mg per treat. My cat wouldn't even lick them. Walked away immediately. So I figured I'd try some that had less lysine - maybe they would taste better. So I got treats that had 250mg of lysine in each. She licked them, but never ate one. So I figured we were going in the right direction, so I ordered treats that were 125mg each. She ate them. Now and then. But I could not get her to eat four at a time, or even four in a day. I was lucky if she actually ate one a day. So my last try was this paw gel. One teaspoon is 500mg. One teaspoon is too much to put on her paw for her to lick - she'd shake her paw and it would go flying. So I put about a teaspoon on my fingers and she licks it off. If she quits before she's finished the full tsp, I wipe the remainder on her paws and she finishes it there. I am feeling SO good about getting the recommended amount of Lysine into her system! Daily!! Getting the last few teaspoons of the gel out of the bottom/tube is difficult, but taking the lid off, and working it like you would the old toothpaste tubes works pretty well.

Was a Game Changer til they changed the formula Dec 2019
Update July 2020:Ever since the formula changed Fall 2019 it’s never worked as good. My cats eyes stay flared up constantly even with two tablespoons or more a day.Update Dec 2019:For months now, I’ve received tubes with odd labels and the last two tubes are a different formula. It used to look like a whipped peanut butter and now it’s a a light tan with spots that resemble mold. I’ll be looking for a new seller2018: My picky cat always made it a chore to eat his Lysine 2 500mg chews daily. I usually have to force them down him. He LOVES this paste! I give him two large globs a day. I click the cap a few times and he comes running to me!
