The photographer just did not understand what he was photographing.** A: Not sure if you can find this photographed on another art supply site. BTW, the image in the 3rd photograph is not this set. I am sure you will be pleased with the selection at this price. I was. **Q: Is open stock avalable for individual replacements?** A: Yes they are available. We plan to add them to the Amazon catalogue by September **Q: Would these be good for adult coloring books for backgrounds and do they need to be sprayed when finished so they don't smudge?** A: I use these for my background in my adult coloring book, there is no tooth for these pastels to grab onto so you only get a very light shading for background. After I color my picture, I add a little of these and it gives me a beautiful pale background that really makes my colored pencil coloring really pop. Of course these are beautiful on toothy paper, nice vibrant colors. **Q: Can you use them with water** A: Yes, with a brush to emphasize certain areas. Be careful not to let the water drip. ## Frequently Bought Together - Faber-Castel FC128248 Creative Studio Soft Pastel Crayons (48 Pack), Assorted - Strathmore 400 Series Pastel Pad, Assorted Colors, 9"x12" Glue Bound, 24 Sheets - 11 oz Krylon 1311 Clear Matte Finish Protective Coating Spray --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/6969398-faber-castel-fc128248-creative-studio-soft-pastel-crayons-48-pack](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/6969398-faber-castel-fc128248-creative-studio-soft-pastel-crayons-48-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
