**Q: Is it made of all plastic or some metal?**
A: It is all plastic

**Q: Does this come in a John Deere Box?**
A: It comes in a John Deere box, but the front is basically open to display the item.  You can touch the tractor while it's in the box and it also makes wrapping the box difficult--nothing to keep paper from tearing if someone pushes on the area.  Hope that helps.  Looks like a great toy overall and typical Bruder quality.

**Q: Is this battery operated?**
A: No, it is manually operated. No batteries or remote controls. It has multiple functions. Many things open and close and it is just a wonderfully engineered toy. Very realistic and good quality!

**Q: why are these toys so expensive?**
A: It's a John Deere toy. All John Deere things are very expensive. Your mostly paying for the name. It's always been like that, and probably always will be. I wish they would make them metal like they used to be. We still have our metal toys we played with when we were kids. These plastic ones, my kids won't have to show their kids because they won't make it through play.
