You can see that the ZXE is indeed a whiter color than the Silverstar Ultra. Is it HID white? No! But it is a step whiter than the Ultra (and much whiter than the basic bulb). I could immediately tell a difference in color tone while driving after I replaced my headlights with the ZXE golds. Time will tell how long they last, but if I get the same 2 year lifespan that I get with the Silverstar Ultra bulbs then they will be worth it. Remember NOT to touch the bulb with your hands/skin at all during installation.
