VANQUEST Javelin 3.0 VSlinger Left-Shoulder Sling Pack

This is the BEST sling bag ever. I now have 2. The first one I bought to haul around the things I use for work everyday, 13in laptop, portable blu-ray drive 2 USB3 SSD's, 2TB 2.5in HDD, various assorted cables, adapters, flashlight, thumbdrives, 2 notebooks, passport, extra unlocked cellphone, noise cancelling ear buds, and several assorted tools. The organization capabilities of the bag are fantastic, everything is easy to find and nothing ends up in a wad at the bottom of the bag. I do wish that there was another option for the interior color, the orange draws peoples eyes when opened, whether they intend to eyeball you or not. The second of these bags I have is a bit multi-purpose for when I'm not working, I keep another 13in laptop, 1 notebook, sunglasses, 1 pistol and 3 mags. I normally carry my 1911 bobtail commander ... but have recently acquired a Glock40 MOS with installed red dot, and that fits fine as well. Both bags carry weight well, but you will want to use the stabilizer strap if you load it heavy as it will help even the load.

the bag itself is awesome.. so why not 5 stars then you ask, " well for me the sling strap is NOT adjustable. "..yes there's the ability to pull it taught up against your body (make it ride/ sit high on your back ) or lower it. But the padding is not adjustable. So I like to have it sit high on my back with that being the case the padding is up against my chin. Kinda uncomfortable...

Strongly made, tough materials, and well thought out bag. This is my first Vanquest product and I am well pleased with the product and the company. Make sure you know which shoulder you want the bag to ride on because the single shoulder strap is not reversible. I crammed lots of gear inside and then I started hanging small bags outside and I have major respect for the planning that went into the manufacturing of this 3.0 slinger bag. Well done Vanquest!

Great bag! This replaces a 3v outlaw, which like a Yugo compared to my Cadillac Javelin. The only small negative that I would even put fourth is, the bag is a little on the petite side.

Daughter loves it. A bit expensive for a backpack.
