Comfortable enough to enjoy
I practically grew up on a bicycle, but besides when I raced BMX back in the early 1980s (helmets required), I never wore a helmet. Even after I was in a pretty serious bike vs car door accident in the early 1990s, I still never got a helmet. I wasn't even planning on getting a helmet until a couple weeks ago when a friend was in an even worse car vs. bike accident. She apparently didn't hit her hed, but she WAS wearing a helmet (no scratches in helmet means she probably didn't hit her head.)Anyway, the older and wiser 44 year old me decided "now is the time to wear a helmet." I wanted to get one that I liked the way it looked because if it looks good, I'm more likely to wear it. To me, the racer style ones always look kind of silly UNLESS you are dressed all in lycra and riding faster than the wind. I also don't like the skateboard style helmets, the ones that cover more of the neck... just don't like them (Nutcase makes that style as well.)The TL;DR portion of my review-- it's lightweight, comfortable, adjustable, comes with extra pads of different thickness to customize the fit. It's comfortable enough that I have no reason to not wear it, and a helmet you don't wear can't protect your head.

LOVE THIS HELMET!
I would give this helmet 10 stars if I could. Let's talk about sizing. This helmet (as advertised, is a sm/med). That sizing is correct. This is not a generic one-size-fits-all that you find in big chain stores, so the sm/med won't fit everyone. My girlfriend, who has a very small head, bought this same size and model at a bike shop - the helmet adjusts to fit her perfectly. I have a very average size head (I can generally walk into any store and find that most fashion hats will basically fit). This helmet fits me perfectly with slight room to adjust to a very slightly larger head. My husband has a large head and this helmet will not slide down onto his head -- it doesn't fit at all. So.....this is not a child size helmet. It fits an adult with a small to medium sized head perfectly. If you want a larger size perhaps you should visit their website and order a larger one there. Aesthetically -- I get constant compliments on this helmet, even from non-cyclists. It seems most people agree that the color combo and design are nice looking. This is the first helmet I've worn where I don't feel goofy. It's a great purchase and I would make it again.

More ventilation than the original old-school Nutcase
Purchased as a gift. The recipient is over six feet in height and has a long-shaped head. Picture Fred Astaire's claymation character in "Santa Claus is Coming to Town"; he's a dead-ringer. He felt that the straps were too short and was getting claustrophobic. In actuality they are just right, as you are not supposed to wear a helmet with a loose chin strap. He has since gotten used to it and wears it regularly with no complaints. This particular model, the commuter helmet, has more air vents than my original Nutcase, which just has a series of holes. If you are looking for something with more ventilation, this commuter model is appropriate.

Quite nice, some minor problems
Nice helmetDesign: 5 star just love the overall shape, the visor and the magnet clipBuild Quality: 3.5 there are some blemishes at where the layers join. Not really visible but for the price I was having high expectations than this.Price: 4 stars. A little bit on the pricy sideComfort: 4 starts. Feels a bit stiff compared to my other helmet. But that also translates to better durability (probably)Adjustability: 5 stars. Very adjustable, offers different size of paddings.Over all, quite nice helmet. I really love the design. Would I buy again? Maybe. Are there cheaper alternatives out there? Yes, but probably won't look as cool :)

I had no idea if I would like a helmet like this
I am 62 years old and had no idea if I would like a helmet like this. Have always worn a more bike helmet looking helmet. I can say, this is the most comfortable helmet I have ever worn and the magnetic clasp is very nice. A quality product that I wish I had found years earlier.

I really like it!
I have been looking for a helmet to protect my head when I go on bike rides through the woods and this one not only fits great but it's so cute! I have gotten compliments on it and people keep asking me where I got it from. The visor is a great addition to it as my old helmet did not have it and sometimes I would get blinded by the sunshine that would go though the top of my sunglasses. It is very easy to put on or off if you prefer not to use it. The padding above the head and under the chin is so comfortable.

Best helmet I've ever had.
Best helmet I've ever had. Such a clean design. Very comfy. Comes with lots of extra padding to ensure size is on point. Love it!My head measures 22" around. This helmet came out of the box and fits without having to use the extra padding or make adjustments aside from the length of the strap. For the record, I paid normal price for this item. I only take time to write reviews when I love a product or when I'm terribly disappointed. This time, I can't say enough good things.

For the narrow headed
It was cute looking and that was about it. It was too narrow on me though my head measured only a tiny bit over 22in. It's too expensive to not return, helmet was sadly returned. Bought a helmet from walmart instead, it's just as cute. If you have a narrow head go for it tho.
