That's what I bought it for. The Indole-3-butyric acid in this product is an Auxin which prompts new plant cells to become roots. **Q: Seller: should this leave a white film (looks like mold, w/ tiny filaments) on top of my soil after watering with correct concentration?** A: Have to be careful when using soils. I tried using some Coconut soil provided in some packaging with plant seeds. And I got the white film looking like mold you described. This is the only time I have had that happen. I now refuse to use that coconut stuff. Only use potting soil. I hope this helps. **Q: how do i dilute for planting tree?** A: We used two ounces per gallon **Q: So who's going to know if I use this in California?** A: Only YOU & whoever you tell. AWESOME Stuff... God Bless... ## Frequently Bought Together - Bonide Garden Rich Root & Grow Root Stimulator & Plant Starter, 32 oz Concentrate 4-10-3 Fertilizer for Transplanting - Bonide Bontone II Rooting Powder, 1.25 oz Ready-to-Use Dust for Houseplants and Transplants Speeds Root Development - Garden Safe Brand TakeRoot Rooting Hormone, 12 Count, Powder Helps Grow New Plants from Cuttings Including Most Home, Garden and Greenhouse Varieties, 2 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/70272563-garden-rich-root-and-grow-root-stimulator-and-plant-starter](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/70272563-garden-rich-root-and-grow-root-stimulator-and-plant-starter) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
