Bought this a returns item at a great discount as I'd always had Sage machines, wanted a change but wasn't 100% sure. So delighted to have been proven wrong, this is a great machine. The Sage had been a Barista Touch Impress, auto tamp etc. The manual tamp on this machine is great, with the holder for the basket and markings on the tamp itself I'm getting the same consistency with no problems and actually enjoy being a little more hands on again. The screen interface is great, responsive and easy to follow. Dialling in new coffee is a breeze. The auto foam wand is also consistently good across everything from latte to flat white and it does well with plant milks. And the water reservoir, compared to the Sage, is a revelation 🤣 It's always the simple things that make the difference, but not having to wrestle a heavy, water-filled plastic container round the back of the machine is genuinely a bonus.
