Lindy Bop 'Vanessa' Alluringly Elegant Low Cut 50's Style Wiggle Dress

I am hoping hoping HOPING and PRAYING this dress gets here before the very last day it says it's going to be here! (November 13th!) I need it the very next day for a Marine Corps Ball! I am getting nervous.. I ordered this dress October 3rd.. I didn't think it would take THIS long to receive it..I am hoping it fits also! I ordered the XS.. I am hoping the top isn't HUGE like all the others say and I hope it form fits! (not baggy and boxy!) :/.. If it comes literally the day before I have no way of getting it altered last minute if need be! (If it needed to be altered in general though would be an upset! It should just fit!)Despite some of the reviews, I ordered this dress anyway because it is exactly what I was looking for this year for ball; the colors are beyond perfect! I am nervous about ordering clothing online. :/ This is the first article of clothing I have ever bought online. I hope I am not let down! I am giving this company the benefit of the doubt!I am, however, disappointed there is no tracking on this.. The little green "it's on it's way!" thing moves, but it's not making me feel any better! :/This looks like an awesome dress, I just hope it is awesome in person! I really do hope the top isn't huge like everyone says it is because I am not chesty whatsoever. I hope it fits nicely and gets here way before the 13th of November!Like I said, giving them the benefit of the doubt so I will rate a 5 for now. Will update star rating and review once I receive the dress and try it on.

this dress is one of nine dresses i bought in a recent lindy bop haul. this one is one of my top three faves! the material was as thick as compared to my other lindy bop dresses. it does have a little bit of stretch so i was able to size down to a medium (i normally go for large to be safe). they weren't kidding when they included "low cut" in the product name! the particular style of the bust design seems to be able to accommodate and flatter all sizes, which is nice for fuller busted gals. i had to safety pin it a bit higher for more modesty and professionalism, but i do plan on tacking it down with my sewing machine later. overall a super sexy yet simple and classy dress!

I agree with some of the other rating that the top is too big. I made it work, so its not too bad, but I did do a little bit of tailoring on the front seams. The bust was a little too advanced for me to mess with so it was a bit loose. The bottom fit great, although I do have some curves in the bottom area if you know what I mean. Overall, the dress worked well and everyone complimented me on it throughout the evening. For the price this was a good purchase.

I quite like the fit, and the material, however the red part at the top of the dress isn't pleated well. I'm going to have to figure out how to iron it.

'Had to have the top altered. Depending on your body shape, you may have to order up. I have a size 4 waist, but have an athletic build so my behind is a little larger. I knew this and ordered up but the top was HUGE! Decent purchase. Just know what to expect.

Amazing (especially for the price)! I plan on wearing this to a wedding in a few months, and I'm excited to show it off. As others have mentioned, the top is looser than the bottom (which works great for me, but may not for everyone).

I love the fit and the way it looks and feels. The straps are a bit to large, so i had it altered. But over all I loved the dress

Accentuates an hour glass figure. Shipment took a long time coming from Australia but I was happy once it arrived. The picture represents the color very well.
