Diethyl Ether, Anhydrous, ACS Reagent, ≥99.0%, 125ML Contains BHT as Inhibitor

It's ether all right. It dissolves paraffin wax for me. The other thing it'll dissolve is that scum that forms on swimming pool tile from kids squirting sunblock on each other while in the water. It will wipe that right off with just a dab of it on a cotton ball. The container has a pressure fitting stopper as well as a screw cap. That's a perfect design, but don't go thinking you can let the container tip over with only the stopper holding in this liquid. It has quite the vapor pressure, which will blow the stopper off if agitated. Use with adequate ventilation and the hell away from any ignition source.

Hope someone laughed. I havent used. It's just part of emergency first aid kit for remote locations. My guess is product will evaporate after a few years even if never used. You can smell even though unopened.

Good stuff, helps start cars and you can drink it and get twice as drunk on 1/2 the amount of liquid....

(Stay far away from any sort of spark or high heat. This is so important. This is more flammable than gas and is very explosive. If this explodes around you it will burn whatever down around you very fast. Stay cautious, be smart and handle with care.)Also don't inhale this stuff be responsible.Came as stated. Beautiful product & the bottle design is nice.The packaging however was a bit rough and seemed like it had been opened before arriving to our compound.Cleans better than anything else !4 star because of loose packaging.Product is 5 star.

Excellent laboratory glass cleaner, and it's ether - for sure.However...Be advised! You should exercise proper ventilation in the workspace, and wear some sort of gloves as protection when using this solvent.

It came without our a label as to what it was, inside was a foil bag again unlabeled, when I opened the bag it was apparent the bottle was not sealed properly. Really bummed had high hopes.

The container it comes is is metal, perfect for a photodegradable substance such as diethyl ether.

It worked well, but a bit over priced!
