Bosch Serie 2 WAB28161GB Washing Machine Freestanding 1400rpm 6kg A+++ [Energy Class A+++]

Having had a Bosch for the last 12 years I was pretty much sold on the idea with replacing it for the same brand as the old machine began to die.With the bearings going it was beginning to attempt to dance around the utility room so out with the old and in with a new Bosch.Simple to use and quiet. It was also easy to plumb in and set up.It's only a 6 kg drum, but ample for my family's needs. The programme lengths are longer than our previous Bosch however. There doesn't appear to be a super quick 15 minute wash, and whilst our previous machine did a mixed load in 45 minutes this machine does the same in 57 minutes.On the whole it is a simple machine to use, even my 7-year-old learnt how to use it within a few minutes.This is one of Bosch's cheaper and more basic models and only time will tell if it lasts as long as my previous model. But so far, having only used it for a month, I am very pleased with this machine.

Having gone from a two person household with a 9kg hotpoint, that died, I thought a 6kg washer would do. with a load of workclothes, two trousers, five t shirts, a sweat shirt, 3 shorts and five socks, weighing less than 5 kilos, the t shirts in the middle didnt even get fully wet. fit for a dolls house unless you want to wash every day, which isnt so 'eco'. tried a pair of full length curtains, rubbish. Wish I could return it. Quiet though. Probably because it doesnt do a 5 kg wash!

Bosch are renowned for their build quality , and longevity, so we replaced our very old one with a very new one, and we are very happy with it.

Just brought this Bosch washing machine had a beco before wouldn't buy one again very pleased with this Bosch good functions on it and it's ideal for two of us. Not that noisy either turned up quick and deliverey was good too. Would buy again from them many thanks

Wouldn’t rate it 1 star I would rate it with nothing but can’t. Arrived . When I put clothes in the washing machine it flooded inside the water rised really didn’t go . The door was locked didn’t open even when cycle was finished. Rocks on the floor and make loud booming banging noises and vibrates suggesting it’s faulty . Then it completely stops working!I won’t recommend this product at all!

Bought it more than six months ago. Great washing machine. A lot of programs. Clothes are clean every time I use it. I recommend Persil non-bio capsules, but it is my personal preference. I used Fairy non-bio before, but it was not cleaning that efficiently.

Such a quiet machine and really cleans. Would recommend it to anyone.
