Remember being a kid, racing off with friends to go outside and play? We do! Our company began with the idea of using light up game pieces to reimagine outdoor games. Now we offer a wide variety of group games to play outside or indoors all year round. We value the awards and reviews we’ve received, but we're most proud of what we offer YOU: a chance to share something active, imaginative and memorable with those you care about. 1. Choose teams: green vs magenta. Combine sets to add more players. Form a line by placing your Dojo Markers on the ground a few feet apart. Stand behind your Dojo, set your Katana to solid light mode and grip it at the base. Hit your opponents without getting hit yourself! 1. Strike using your katana! Only torso hits count and never hit another player's head. Return to your dojo, press the katanas base so the light flashes, then resume play. Get hit twice and you're out until the next round. Play until one team is eliminated. Then switch sides, change teams or... Mastered the basic version? Try one of the 10 game options offered as a free digital download! Long live the king (or queen)! Win by striking your opponent’s ruler. Lose if yours is hit. Adds up to two more players to the game. Arm players with two Weapons of Light! Use when you have six or fewer players or by combining game sets. One team tries to steal the lights while the other guards them using the swords. Doubles the number of players! If you get hit on an arm, you can’t use that arm anymore. Get hit on a leg? Hop! Loose both legs? Crawl!! 4 Glow Katanas: durable, bright, made of soft foam. Lights last 12+ hours, batteries included Use to form your Dojo (home base). Lights last 12+ hours and include replaceable batteries Add more players and try new game options using one game set. Included as a free download. Discover new ways to battle by combining multiple game sets. Great for large events! The game has mixed reviews. Why? We had a problem with one batch of games. The problems are fixed but it’s taking a long time for the review score to reflect the improvements. It really doesn’t hurt to get hit? Nope! We like to say, “No saber pain!” The weapon of light is made from soft foam (like a pool noodle only softer). Just be sure to grip the item at its base and never hit someone on the head. Do players wear sensors? How can you tell if someone has been hit? Players use the trust method to track hits. Good sportsmanship is part of the game! How is this different from Glow Battle Family? This game set is designed for 2-4 players whereas Glow Battle Family is for 2-8 players and contains many game components. Couldn't I just get the swords at a dollar store? The foam used for the swords is optimized for durability, thickness & density: strong enough to be used repeatedly but soft enough to ensure players don't get hurt. The LEDs are super bright with 12+ hrs of certified use.
