Review: Muy bueno - Muy bueno Review: From 100-Degree Heat to 4-Inch Grass in Just 15 Days! - "This is an excellent seed. I planted it on July 1st, right when New York hit 100 degrees. I have been tracking its progress, and it has been doing great. There is only one difference: it grows faster in the shade than in the sun. Today is day 15 since planting, and the grass is 4 inches tall with a 5-inch root system." ## Features - Same features as the 3 lb package - Covers up to 2,800 sq. ft. - Perfect for overseeding and new lawns - Recommended for areas with high temperatures and low rainfall - Provides a healthy, green lawn that is tolerant to heat and drought ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BZK38XGL | | Brand | Jonathan Green | | Brand Name | Jonathan Green | | Colour | Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 304 Reviews | | Expected blooming period | Spring and Fall | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Outdoor | | Indoor/Outdoor usage | Outdoor | | Item Type Name | Grass Seed | | Item Weight | 3.75 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Jonathan Green | | Manufacturer Part Number | 10515 | | Material Features | Grass Seed | | Material feature | Grass Seed | | Model Number | 10515 | | Moisture Needs | Moderate Watering | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Drought Tolerant | | Plant or Animal Product Type | grass seed | | Product Care Instructions | Water | | Soil Type | Clay Soil | | Special feature | Drought Tolerant | | Sunlight Exposure | Full Sun | | UPC | 079545105150 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | expected blooming period | Spring and Fall | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Jonathan Green - **Colour:** Green - **Expected blooming period:** Spring and Fall - **Indoor/Outdoor usage:** Outdoor - **Item weight:** 3.75 Pounds - **Material feature:** Grass Seed - **Product care instructions:** Water - **Special feature:** Drought Tolerant - **Sunlight exposure:** Full Sun - **Unit count:** 1.0 count ## Images ![Black Beauty Heat & Drought Resistant Grass Seed - 7 lb - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71AUZ-pVTuL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Muy bueno *by R***V on 4 June 2026* Muy bueno ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From 100-Degree Heat to 4-Inch Grass in Just 15 Days! *by G***O on 16 July 2026* "This is an excellent seed. It’s amazing! *by M***E on 22 April 2026* We moved to the Carolina’s from Ohio. In Ohio, we had Kentucky Bluegrass and the grass was beautiful. Moving down south, I’m not a fan of the centipede grass. You can hardly tell where you mowed and to be blunt-it’s ugly. I purchased this seed with hopes for our lawn to look like the Kentucky Bluegrass and it does (if not better). The seed sprouted within 7 days and by day 14 the area is absolutely beautiful. I plan on buying another bag to blend in with the centipede grass. Proper prep of the area is crucial along with watering. I aerated the area with our rolling aerator, put down top soil as the base, watered the top soil, spread the seed then dress coated the area with Miracle grow garden soil that I purchased from The Home Depot. The next morning, I watered the area pretty good then continued to water every other day. Water in the morning before 9am is best! The pictures attached were taken on day 09. Buy this seed! It’s 100% amazing! One last thing- I read reviews all the time before I make purchases. I promise that I paid for my bag of seed and was not given a bag to write this 5 star review for you to buy it. Sadly, I haven’t figured out how to be one of those customers who are given items to be tested for good reviews (hahaha) ## Frequently Bought Together - Jonathan Green (10515) Black Beauty Heat & Drought Resistant Grass Seed - Cool Season Lawn Seed (7 lb) - Scotts Turf Builder Starter Fertilizer for New Grass, Use When Planting Seed, 5,000 sq. ft., 15 lbs. - Jonathan Green (10322) Black Beauty Ultra Grass Seed - Cool Season Lawn Seed (7 lb) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/712087157-black-beauty-heat-and-drought-resistant-grass-seed-7-lb](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/712087157-black-beauty-heat-and-drought-resistant-grass-seed-7-lb) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
