Review: Great product if you're not planning to listen to stuff - Just got this out of the box. Really cute design. CD player and radio works fine. USB port is functional as long as your USB only has one audio track on it or you don't mind them being automatically shuffled (ie. maybe not best for an audiobook). Unfortunately the speakers are not super great. At least the headphone jack allows me to plug it into an external speaker and still use it, but for the price of this thing I feel like I really shouldn't have to. I did a lot of reading of desertcart reviews for different CD players before I picked this one. It's a real shame that all of them seemed to emphasize poor audio quality, and the security of the headphone jack was really the feature that sold me on this one. Does nobody make good CD boomboxes anymore?

Just got this out of the box. Really cute design. CD player and radio works fine. USB port is functional as long as your USB only has one audio track on it or you don't mind them being automatically shuffled (ie. maybe not best for an audiobook). Unfortunately the speakers are not super great. At least the headphone jack allows me to plug it into an external speaker and still use it, but for the price of this thing I feel like I really shouldn't have to. I did a lot of reading of amazon reviews for different CD players before I picked this one. It's a real shame that all of them seemed to emphasize poor audio quality, and the security of the headphone jack was really the feature that sold me on this one. Does nobody make good CD boomboxes anymore?
