A very yellow gold but not cheesy in the least. All edges are smooth, well welded, came assembled and holds plenty. Has a nice clear cushion that keeps it in place on the shower head. I have the type that you can take down and use handheld so the hose hangs in front of it but it really isn't a problem at all. Overall very nice and worth the price!

A: Good Morning Amazon Customer. I am not sure how big my shower head was...but I am sure it would fit over your 12 inch shower head. And I absolutely love my shower caddy.

A: No.  It must be hung on shower head.

**Q: If an item hasn't been ship why can't I cancel it before it is??**
A: How the heck would I know? I'd say if you cussed a little louder ya might get some action!

This was nicer than expected. Sometimes, gold-painted aluminum can appear slightly orange, but this didn't. It's sturdy enough to hold large bottles of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. I also purchased a pair of suction cup holders from the same company to keep it from swinging.
