Das Sieb ist aus einer Lage Edelstahl gefertigt worden - sehr präzise Löcher. Die Dicke mit 0,8 mm ist ausreichend dünn und macht das Sieb verwindungssteif, fast massiv. Vielleicht hätte man auf 0,5 mm reduzieren können. Da ich einen bodenlosen Siebträger verwende, kann ich die Veränderung mit Sieb beobachten. Der Kaffeeaustritt erfolgt gleichmäßiger. Der Puck, der dann ausgeklopft wird, ist sehr gleichmäßig und fest und trocken. Das ist ohne Sieb nicht so definiert und reproduzierbar.Dass der Geschmack des Espressos sich verbessert, kann ich nicht bestätigen. Es geht nur um die gleichmäßige Verteilung des Wassers, wenn es auf den Kaffeepuck trifft. Das Duschsieb in meiner Vibiemme Domobar schafft es nicht, das Wasser gleichmäßig zu verteilen. Es gibt Austrittsspots, die ggf. zu Channeling führen können.
