Tesco NEW Mika Single High Sleeper with Small Double Futon Bunk Bed Frame - Metal

I purchased 2 of these last August for my Sons, then 10 and 6. Within less than a year the metal springs holding up the underneath fold up bed on one of them had snapped clean off the frame itself! Meaning it couldn’t even be used for casual sleepovers! It was actually unsafe too as metal bits stuck out! I contacting the seller and was offered a full refund.Then this last week the ladder on the other remaining bed became totally lose on one side,upon inspection it appears rmthe bolt and nut holding it together has worked it’s way through the inside hole on the inside frame and the bolt has lodged itself inside the hole so can’t even be removed to fix it! I now have another useless that I paid £120 for 16mths ago! I have contacted the company again but the annoying thing is that they no longer stock the beds so I have no option but to take the refund and then have to find another bed!It’s dangerous to think there are more in circulation of these beds that within a short amount of time can break and potentially cause real damage.

I got this to help maximise space and the way my spare room is used. Instructions were clear and the product is sturdy and well designed. My daughters and grandchildren are happy, and so am I because my spare room now works twice as hard.

Bed frame arrived promptly. Unfortunately one of the frame legs had a massive dent but I already unpacked and started to build with an eager child watching over me so continued on.Other than the delivery scars it's a great bed frame.
