We used these to provide wired network ports in locations that only had wi-fi. Our firm has some equipment that requires connection to the internet via a wired network port. We bought several of the VAP11G-300 units, and found they work great for this purpose. Took maybe two minutes to set up: plug into a laptop or PC, connect via a browser, select the wireless network to use, then disconnect from the computer, plug in power (uses USB power), and done! Provides a wired network port that works anywhere it can receive the wi-fi signal and get USB power. Note: in some installations, we had to browse to the http address, in others we had to use the 192.168 address. If one doesn't work, try the other.

Great and easy way to make my printers WIRELESS!! They are compatible with Wi-Fi in my house and work without skipping a beat. I have them hid behind a table so that they are out of sight. I am very happy with these and will buy more as I see a need. I use one per printer. Just order one, try it out. You will like it.

The Wifi range is really good.

Installed in a few mins using dirwct connection to computer. Connects seamlessly every time.

This my second orders. So far they are working good.All my devices connect to the network now, Sony TV, play station and Lorex.
