Thank you for asking such a great question. We source the majority of our products from the United States, however, we do outsource our Lamb that comes from New Zealand and our Rabbit from France. The vitamin B used in the recipes will come from China. I don’t know how much sodium this food has that is a question better answered by the company website or calling a direct number. What I can tell you is this food is not appropriate for a cat with CKD. The protein level and likely the phosphorus is too high. If you are unable to feed a prescription kidney diet you should select a diet designed for senior cats. The AAFCO says this food is for all life stages which really means it’s best for kittens or young active adults cats.

There is Guaranteed Gum, which is a food gum exactly like Carrageenan. I'm allergic to all of them, they're all the same.
