It matters because you need short day for where I live.** A: If you need short day,then avoid these at all costs. First,it took a long time to arrive(in excess of one month). Second,for the costs the ad read 40 bulbs,yes we did receive 40 bulbs. Except,over half of them were so TINY,they didn't do anything. The price was very expensive. Lastly,we wrote the sellers,they never responded. They are only after your money. Keep it in your pocket. These are folks you want to avoid dealing with. Can you plant a year later** A: I don't believe they will survive a year. Most likely they will dry up and die. I used all of mine by putting them in between trees, bushes and flowers.
