2 GB Dell New Certified Memory RAM Upgrade for Dell OptiPlex 755 & 760 Systems SNPYG410C/2G A2149880

This was an exact replacement memory set for upgrading my tower computers memory. But they were twice the capacity of my originals. My computer held four sets. So I ordered two sets of these. They went in with no issues and work great. My original memory is now doubled to 8 GB. And the upgrade was worth doing. The Price was good too.

Although the store advertised that this RAM module would fit my old Dell desktop, it didn't. I finally had to remove the current memory module and get the info from it to order from another store. I would not recommend this store, and I would not recommend going off search results... Take the RAM memory module out of the computer and read the type of memory it is - then buy the same kind. I finally got the correct type of memory that way and it works! I can finally use my ancient desktop computer as a home server now!

My only issue is the height being short made it harder to install. But if you have a cramped case that might be a plus.Also I used to buy add on RAM heatsinks so finding one this size may be difficult but that's just me. Obviously you can work around that.But you can't beat this price for RAM that doesn't have compatibility issues!

Went from 4GB to 8GB total memory with this add-on RAM. Boosted performance of my Dell 755 desktop, with apps now running much faster. Also, the additional memory helps conversion of Windows OS from Win7 Pro to Win10 Pro more attuned to Win10 requirements.

The memory kits were what I expected and functioned for the purpose acquired - to enable a 14 year old Dell Optiplex 755 to be upgraded to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.In addition, a 256 GB Crucial SSD was added to the machine giving it more spunk.

Does what it says on the tin. Swapped out the 1GB module in my Optiplex 755 for the two for a total of 4GB. Memory tests check out and I managed to eliminate the excessive disk swapping and loading delays with larger graphics applications I use for photo editing. And I still have two more slots to bump the machine up to 8Gb if needed in the future.

I was able to double my ram on my Dell Optiplex 760. It has made a signicant increase in speed. Now I don't feel the need to buy a new PC

Parts went in easily. Really makes a positive difference in the desktop speed. Easy way to get more speed from that old Dell.
