Legendary®: A Marvel Deck Building Game: MCU 10th Anniversary

If you like comic book art PLEASE DON'T GET THIS AND WRITE A BAD REVIEW!!! If you have "Upper Deck Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game" this is ALMOST a repeat with only characters from the movies.If you are new to Legendary (or have the old one and it is worn out), this is a great introduction to the game. I love the fact that the use movie screenshots. I was introduced to the game by a friend who had the comic book art one and I felt very disconnected to the characters. I never had the chance to read comic books growing up. The whole time I was playing I kept wishing that they had pictures from the movie instead.Slighty disappointed with the lack of pictures of Robert Downey Jr., BUT I was glad that they mad up for it in Spiderman Homecoming additional pack.When I found this version, I was so happy!!!I am looking forward to buying phase 2.

I'm happy I bought this pack. It got my family interested in playing a new game. They never read any of the comic books, but have watched almost all the Marvel movies. Soooo they related to the screen shots from the movies. And to help further, I described various icons and symbols by non-game names, like bacon, barcode and hulk hands. It made for great family fun. I recommend playing a game solo first before doing a group play.Organizing cards for a game is like sorting Lego pieces if you have game OCD. You get used to it.Then I learned from the pre-existing Legendary Deck Building community what the Phase One set was missing from the original base set. But the community has lots of "alternative art" replacements. So in no time, I printed missing cards and had most of the cards I was interested in. After that, I jumped whole hog into the game and have three big box expansions waiting under the tree!

7 heroes, 5 different villians, 4 henchmen groups, 48 shield agents, 24 shield troopers, 30 shield officers, 30 bystanders, 12 special bystanders, 30 wounds, 3 masterminds, 8 schemes, 12 schemes twists, 6 masterstrikes.The colors look better in person, than in the pictures i posted.Only worth it if you don't have the marvel legendary base game or really love marvel legendary.You get more stuff in the marvel legendary base game.

I have this along with the original core set. The gaming group I play with all prefer the screen caps of the cards. I would recommend this to more casual gamers or anyone who is a big fan of the MCU. These cards have been the bigger hit in my experience.

This expansion is basically a core set, with pictures from movies as the card backgrounds. It comes with a play mat and it's a smaller box. I use it as my travel box, then pick out what other villains, masterminds, characters, etc. I want to play with that session. Super convenient! Love it.

This was a well set up intro to this great little game, after some initial confusion at set up the game now is a blast to play and introduce to our friends, the only thing better now would be if we actually were the avengers!

This is a great game. The expansions make it more challenging, which is great. The base game alone is a little to easy. That said, this edition lacks all the X-men because it’s marvel cinematic universe. Buy the original. I was disappointed to miss out on some great core cards that are in the X-men set.

Love this game. The box art is misleading, it only includes the standard box hero’s and minimal photos from the first Avengers... Should have used the wider variety... not like they don’t have the images...The card mat that comes with this version is fantastic

Really fun game. I would recommend it if you like deck building games and If you like the Marvel movies.

Not much new.But nice MCU Skinning.

Arrived on time and in perfect condition. I love this game as I have the original Marvel legends and all the expansions. This version makes it perfect for demoing Marvel Legendary and for quick games on the go!
