Can someone please explain that to me?** A: One serving has 4g of erythritol, which is a sugar alcohol with zero glycemic impact. You can safely subtract erythritol from total carbs to reach the appropriate number of net carbs. **Q: Does it have a cool aftertaste?** A: It takes more energy to dissolve erythritol in the mouth than it does sugar or other foods. Because of this, some individuals detect a cooling effect or sensation after they eat something with Swerve or erythritol. But - many people don't notice it at all! Brown Swerve has a few additional ingredients that help reduce the cooling effect, so if you are sensitive to it - this is the Swerve product for you! Also, adding more fat to a recipe, dissolving, and baking all help reduce the cooling effect. **Q: What type of Fruit juice** A: This is what I found on the site, Brown Swerve! ... Brown Swerve is zero calories, non-glycemic, and contains no molasses or sugar! The ingredients include Erythritol, prebiotic oligosaccharides, vegetable glycerin, fruit juice concentrate (for color), and natural flavors. You will need to contact them for the exact type of fruit juice concentrate. **Q: substitutes for light brown sugar or dark brown sugar?** A: Brown Swerve is deliciously similar to light brown sugar, rather than dark brown sugar. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excelente *by E***R on 2025年11月1日にメキシコでレビュー済み* Muy bien la calidad ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Taste like Brown Sugar *by C***R on 2023年1月9日にカナダでレビュー済み* This is a great product for the keto diet and does not raise blood sugar ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This isn't sugar!? What? *by I***A on 2018年9月25日にアメリカ合衆国でレビュー済み* I have non-insulin dependent Diabetes and a terrible sweet tooth. Unfortunately, all the "sweeteners" I have tried either tasted terrible, had uncomfortable side effects, or weren't all that good for you. I didn't like saccharin or aspertame. Stevia tastes bitter to me. The things I have had with Sucralose taste fine, but I was concerned with the possibility of it raising my blood sugar/insulin levels and I am leery of the use of chlorine to make it. I have had funny/embarrassing experiences with some other sugar substitutes. So I just went back to using sugar in light moderation when my sweet tooth got the best of me. Then I found Swerve! I am really impressed by the taste and my spouse thought it was sugar, although made mention that the brown has a slight vanilla taste. Not bad, mind you, but it might be something to consider if vanilla is called for in a recipe. I haven't yet used it in baking, but I've used it with making Thai inspired recipes with great success. When I tasted it from the bag, I noticed a very slight cooling effect in my mouth. This did not appear in the finished recipes we ate. It measures, looks, and packs like brown sugar. I am looking forward to trying this in baked products and trying the other versions of Swerve. I am really happy with the product. My goal is to continue to lose weight and diminish my reliance on medication, and I think this product will be useful in reaching my goal. I appreciate the convenience it affords in preparing recipes that require sugar. Now I can prepare things for friends and family that we can enjoy together. So far no one has noticed the difference. ## Frequently Bought Together - Swerve Ultimate Sugar Replacement Sweetener, Brown Sugar Substitute, Keto Friendly, Zero Calorie, Zero Sugar, Non-Glycemic, Gluten Free, 12 ounces - Blue Diamond Almonds Almond Flour, Gluten Free, Blanched, Finely Sifted, 48 oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/726768946-swerve-ultimate-sugar-replacement-sweetener-brown-sugar-substitute-keto-friendly](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/726768946-swerve-ultimate-sugar-replacement-sweetener-brown-sugar-substitute-keto-friendly) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
