This is my first time trying a cleansing oil as part of a double-cleansing routine. I bought it because a few friends recommended it and I had also been seeing it quite a bit on social media. I have combination, sensitive, acne-prone skin, so I was a little nervous about using an oil on my face. I honestly thought it might leave my skin feeling greasy, but I was pleasantly surprised. I mainly use it at night when I’m wearing a lot of makeup or applying several layers of sunscreen. I have acne marks, enlarged pores, and some active acne, so sometimes I feel like I need a deeper first cleanse. This oil works really well for removing makeup, especially mascara, which is usually the hardest part for me to take off. You apply it to dry skin with dry hands and massage it into your face before rinsing with lukewarm water. I recommend taking your time and massaging well, especially around the pores. You don’t need to use a lot of product to get a good cleanse, and it doesn’t leave that greasy feeling after rinsing. After using the oil, I follow with the Mixsoon Bean Cleansing Foam, which finishes the cleansing process without making my skin feel dry. The oil cleans deeply but still feels gentle, and so far it hasn’t caused any new breakouts. My skin adapted really well when I switched from my previous cleanser. The only thing I would change is the fragrance. It has a little bit of a scent, and personally, I prefer skincare products without fragrance. I don’t think it adds anything necessary to the experience. Other than that, I’m really happy with this cleansing oil.
