I asked for a cartridge for an earlier model printer ...
I asked for a cartridge for an earlier model printer and the 145 cartridge case is different and only printed half of the character. I ended up putting the new ribbon in the old cartridge to make it work! Packaging and shipment time was great1

quick delivery, in Winter
It came quickly. Since it was winter, the ribbon got cold and printing was faint. (Check out images of the New England Patriots vs. Arizona Cardinals football game [...]) They got better as they warmed up.

dot matrix printer
It works fine, I twisted the ribbon a little when I first placed the ribbon in place. Otherwise it works fine.I do wish their was a attachment (compatible) cord from the printer to my laptop. Thanks

Was a good product in it's era, but it's now obsolete
Was a good product when that ink was popular about 10 years ago, however it'sonly black ink, and is considered obsolete. HP printers seem to be the King ofthe hill today, which will not accept this cartridge. But I got my money's worth, I used the printer and that cartridge for 20 years. Hank Roedell

It works!
This is the ribbon we have been searching for as our printer has a few years on it and the ribbons are difficult to locate.

Ancient printer back in service!
My laser 4 in 1 is faulty and refuses to feed paper ( 2 types tried but it now looks like faulty springs or gears in the paper drive ) I thought that I had a spare printer, a Panasonic KX-P1081 in the attic that hadn't even done a ream of paper but it was missing. After two days of searching and thinking the penny dropped! A friend had borrowed it years ago so his kids could print out a school homework project. ( note that "a" means singular) Well his kids are now full grown men but that near-new Panasonic that cost me £160 in the days of the BBC Microcomputer never came back. Also in the attic was an ex car-boot sale printer that was yellowed with age. It was a 24 pin Panasonic KX-P1123 but the problem was going to be getting drivers as Windows 7 doesn't support it. The printer powered-up OK so that was a good start and there was a very faint printout in self-test. Of course the ribbon had dried-out so I ordered a new one ( I also bought a bottle of black endorsing ink but messing with ink is really a last resort to be used when ribbons are unobtainable ) As to Drivers the easiest way was to use my Windows XP netbook which also has Abiword on its hard drive. ( Hint never ever ever "upgrade" from XP ) The hard bit was trying to master tractor feed for 11" perfs but the ribbon worked fine! (The job is litigation over a friend's £2500 which the banks have lost in some kind of a black hole. Both banks blame each other and say that its not their fault "as the computer did it!". The money has now been missing for six months! Third World? Of course!)In this crazy and mad world where firms just cannot get the right staff, printers for litigation and their inks, ribbons or toners are a must-have item.
