Solid, high quality bag
I now have two timbuk 2 products, this bad and a backback that I use for work. The quality of both are excellent, the zippers are strong, the material solid, and for the rolling duffle, the wheels are high quality, able to take weight and do not crack under strain. I waited to review this for a few months so it could get some use in, and my bag has now been on several plane flights (Europe, the Caribbean, and domestic business travel) and it has held up quite well, in fact it still looks almost new. The interior is deceptively large, and I have found that it easily holds a week worth of clothes and more. On our last trip, we took this bag and a Amazon basics duffle (really just a simple canvas bag) and were able to use the wheels/internal structure of the Timbuk2 bag as the luggage cart for the duffle that was loaded with 40 pounds of stuff. It stayed balanced with that and showed no strain at all.

Great for Safari
I bought one of these for each of four travelers for a two week trip to Tanzania December 2019/January 2020. Baggage restrictions are tight on safari. Each of us was allowed one softside/duffel, no heavier than 33 kg, and a backpack. These bags were great. We were able to carry on throughout the flight from LAX to Kilimanjaro (departing Lufthansa business class), but departing Kilimanjaro on the return flight (Ethiopian business class) we were required to check the bags. The bags were extremely sturdy. The large wheels worked well on dirt/gravel/rough surfaces. No criticisms and couldn't have picked a better bag, IMO.

Terrible customer service
I bought two of the rolling Timbuk2 duffels and one of them broke while on a trip. The handle you lift up for rolling the back got stuck in the down locked position for no apparent reason and caused me a lot of inconvenience on my travels. I have tried emailing, calling, filling out warranty forms with ZERO response or the ability to get ahold of anyone. This is just terrible service for what could be an otherwise good product. BEWARE if something happens to your bag these guys won't honor their warranty or be accountable. that's my experience - and its too bad cause I wanted to like the product (as I also have a backpack by them).

This is a piece of junk...
I had the bag for a month and the extending roller handle failed. I contacted Timbuk2 with no response. I ordered the replacement handle they have listed on their site - wrong handle - doesn't fit.Broke in one month.POS.Don't waste your money.

Cheap handle and squeaky wheels after 1 week of use
Well, I decided to travel carry-on for their 3 weeks trip. Size was good and normally Timbuk2 makes great products. I own 3 bags from them. The bag itself is good. Quality material and good construction. But they should stay in bags. Their hardware was the worst I've seen. After a week I couldn't get the handle down, it was stuck on one side. Retry horrible when you try to get this in the overbin.Second week, handle still mid way up, a wheel start to squeak.Got back a day to late to return this awful product.
