Whitelabel Bluetooth 4.0 USB Dongle Adapter Compatible with Windows 10, 8.1/8, 7, Vista, XP, Plug and Play or IVT BlueSoleil Driver

Not truth in advertising. I bought a couple back September 2016, and they both came and worked with a licensed version of IVT BlueSoleil software. They were interchangeable between the two desktops I placed them in. Due to their Windows both being updated from Windows 7 to 10, their bluetooth setups were a hot mess, and only the BlueSoleil USB Device sorted out making A2DL audio (eg smartphone music) playable as it was on Windows 7 SP1 and 8.1.The description hasn't changed, even the package references the IVT, but now there is none in the package, and only a very outdated CRS Harmony 'Bluetooth Stack' on the disk is there to help get it running. It 'kinda' works with April Creator Release 1803 of Windows 10, if you don't mind not seeing artist, song, or having the volume control not work. BlueSoleil works, but the mac address range for these don't come under the old WhiteLabel (moudio.com) license agreement - probably because moudio.com / mysmartmobility.com no longer exist. CRS were absorbed by Qualcomm, this is a CRS device, and Qualcomm haven't bothered to update their driver.This probably all works just fine on a new Windows 10 install that doesn't have all that unremoveable junk left in it; I wouldn't wish the 'upgrader's heartburn' on any but my worst enemies. Hopefully it works ok with the CRS Harmony version that comes with it for earlier versions of Windows. IVT still vigorously support their software, so I'm looking elsewhere for a reliable bluetooth solution attached to BT Dongle.UPDATE:They checked their warehouse, can't figure out which packages may or may not have BlueSoleil compatibility. They refunded my money, but left their product description here, even including the reference to the moudio dot com site for downloading software. Does NOT exist, folks. Sheesh...

Bottom line: This works with Windows 10 as plug&playLong story:I can confirm after disabling my Windows 10 laptop's build-in BT 2.0 device, reboot and plug in this dongle, it works automatically.For Windows 10, DO NOT install drive from cd-rom. Installing that driver actually make it not work correctly in WIN 10. I did that mistake and installed the cd-rom driver when I first open the package. In the custom Bluetooth control, devices (keyboard and mouse) appeared to be paired, but not working. After reading comment from seller in another review, I uninstalled the drive, reboot, and it just works!!I am only giving 4-star because the instruction is not clear of the above situation (WIN10).

This is just a sleeve to hold a microSD memory chip and a converter to let it be plugged into a USB slot in your PC/Laptop.NOTE: It does NOT have any memory included. You provide that.It is super tiny, and very easy to hang from a key-ring or such. The most convenient way I've found to handle separate memory-chips. That it uses a now-universal mem chip (microSD) is that much more convenient.HOWEVER: it needs to clap onto the mem chip a bit more. The chip can slide out just a tiny bit, and loose connection so that when plugged into the PC, it's not identified as a device. You have to remember to manually push the chip all-the-way-in (with a thumbnail, easy to do, hard to remember).I borrowed the end-cap from a USB thumb-drive and clip it over the end, to make sure the mem chip doesn't slip out.If it held the mem chip tighter, or came with it's own restraining cap, I'd give this a 5-star easily.

Unfortunately, this does not work at all for Windows 10. All I wanted to do was listen to my wireless headphones. Followed all instructions, even searched the Internet for some other options and tried them when the instructions on the package didn't work.UPDATE: I am changing my stars to three because of Whitelabel's customer service. They read my review, reached out to me, and offered suggestions, none of which worked. I told them I wasn't going to go through the hassle of a return. They refunded my money anyway. So, go ahead and try it, it may just be something with my computer, or some problem I haven't found a solution for. But Whitelabel treated me well.

The media could not be loaded.  I decided to go with this dongle over so many others based on reviews, price and best performance. Obviously I read reviews before I buy anything myself and I'm here now to share my review. I've had it for over 2 weeks now and it has not dropped a connection one bit. I have it plugged in the back of my PC and I am typing on my Bluetooth Keyboard right now that is connected to it. I also paired a mouse and headphones and use it all at the same time. It has good range even, I can step back 10 feet no problem since that's the furthest i need to go it's perfect.I run Windows 10, I just plugged it in and it worked instantly, so I didn't even need to use the cd to install the driver. My $300 2 year old motherboard I bought didn't have bluetooth built in...not even wifi (i know right) but I have found this dongle, just what I needed and I am once again back to loving my PC...but wait... now I need a WiFi dongle. So my search continues for that haha. Great Product!!!

Really low range. Using this for a bluetooth speaker. Only reaches a few meters and if anyone walks in front of it the sound cuts out.If I connect the speaker to my phone the range reaches right accross the house through 2 or 3 walls without any problems.Dissapointing

Bought it for a set of headphones and it works perfectly.

There's not much to say, the adapter works perfectly as soon as it was plugged into my pc and it's super quick to connect, well worth the price.

Over time I have tried several of these Bluetooth dongle and this one seems the most reliable. O/s win10 64bit - desktop PC.

Does what it says on the tin
