Folgers Mocha Swirl Flavored Ground Coffee, 10 Ounce

Reviewer Lou Ann Bransford asked how Folgers Mocha Swirl compares to Millstone Chocolate Velvet, which was discontinued in 2016. As was true for Lou Ann, Millstone Chocolate Velvet was my favorite, and I’ve tried 11 varieties of chocolate coffee total including Starbuck's Mocha, Godiva chocolate truffle, Dunkin Donuts chocolate glazed donut, Coffee Fool (black nutty fudge, chocolate espresso, dutch chocolate, Turtle Gone Nuts) plus local Southern Season Double Dutch Chocolate. None of the other brands were as good as Millstone in my opinion. With that said, I have ordered Folgers Mocha Swirl from Amazon 3 times since Millstone became unavailable because Folgers has the best taste and value of the other brands.Folgers Mocha Swirl is not as smooth and creamy-tasting as Millstone was, but Folgers’ chocolate flavor tastes authentic and is intense enough without having an aftertaste. I occasionally make ice coffee, and Folgers tastes good that way too. Importantly, Amazon features Folgers Mocha Swirl as an add-on item, so my new routine is to check my coffee supply every time I order from Amazon (which is often) and add on a bag or two of this coffee if I am running low. Amazon’s supply is fresh because the expiration date is always generous, e.g. the last bag I ordered in January 2017 had an expiration date of August 28, 2017.Godiva chocolate coffee also has good flavor, but I don't buy it often because of its high price and low availability. My grocery store no longer features either brand, so I will be a return customer at Amazon for Folgers' great-tasting and reliable product.

...it must be very good coffee.after years of searching for a coffee i would drink w/out thinking i was being poisonedby the bitter taste, we finally found one !!!!this is it!!ADMITTEDLY I MUST USE A CREAMER but it is still the firstcoffee i actually like . it does have an excellent caramel flavour and is nowhere near as bitter as all the rest i've tried.i put1/3 creamer , admittedly but as time goes on, i need less. thsi is a very nice caramel with far less bitteraftertaste than i have ever had.i like to drink coffee for the health benefits but until we found this particular brand and this specific flavour, i could not do it.somehow the makers of this paricular coffee have hit the goal of making a coffee that actually does taste more like a caramel drizzle than plain old coffee.thank goodness!as an avid coffee hater, i am quite pleased to find the only coffee i actually like!!so to coffee lovers, when your opposite loves it, it must be premium!!!caramel lovers owe it to themselves to try it.

I am a coffee fanatic. I can't function without coffee and I have about 3-4 cups per day. I love it so much that when I ordered this coffee I also ordered socks with coffee mugs and coffee beans on them. I have probably tried over 100 different kinds of coffee, from chicory blends to the most wild flavors you can imagine. About 3 months ago I acquired a taste for hazelnut coffee and since then I have tried roughly 15 different brands. I always put off trying this particular coffee because I wasn't the biggest fan of some of the other folgers gourmet flavors I've tried. I am glad I finally decided to give this a try as it is my new favorite coffee. Not too dark and not too light it is a perfect medium with an incredible aroma and it is very smooth. I am going to keep buying this coffee and recommending it to all other coffee lovers.

Folgers Gourmet Selections Coffee, Caramel Drizzle has become one of our favorite flavored coffees. We also like the Vanilla and Mocha flavors and alternate between them. We like to enjoy it on the weekends when we have a bit more time to relax.The flavor is definitely a sweeter caramel taste along with the coffee and both of us use a bit of sugar and cream, which may shock those of you that drink it black. It's good however you like it, right?I have this on subscribe and save so it's a few cents less than purchasing it locally. Four and a half stars!

Folgers Gourmet Selections are the best flavored coffees I have ever had. It's the only coffee I drink but it's next to impossible to find in the grocery stores. My favorite feature about these coffees, other than their very smooth taste, is the fact that you can combine the flavors to suit your pleasure. The combinations that I love are Carmel Drizzle with Vanilla Biscotti (mix the grounds with half a measure of each), and Coconut Cream Pie with Mocha Swirl also mixed half and half prior to brewing. There are many more from which I am sure you will find more than one that you will like. Or, better yet, create your own taste by combining your favorite compatible flavors.. You gotta try them!!UPDATE: January 17, 2018 - Price is ridiculous now. Twice as high as it was last time I purchased. Will not be buying it again..

This weekend, this coffee passed blind-testing. My husband used it this for the first time yesterday morning, several weeks after my purchase and without telling me he was doing so. My taste of the first cup elicited an exclamation "Oh, this is good! What is it?" So, its flavor obviously does not resemble coconut cream pie, and indeed the coconut flavor is subtle enough that I did not immediately identify it. If you're a sucker for flavored coffees this one may be too mild-mannered for you. But if you are looking for a breakfast-style (medium-roast) brew with a hint of flavor, this one is priced t​o try.
