It's pure. Good theanine should taste a slightly savoury-sweet. Technically, theanine mimics or modulates neurotransmitter(s) in your brain, so this is basically a drug, same as cinnamon or ginger or grapefruit.Goes better with a cup of black tea than with coffee, but that's probably an entourage effect since tea is the original source of theanine. Adds a little sweetness, helps cut back on caffeine-induced anxiety. I usually add 150-300mg in the morning, mixed in my coffee or tea, or in a separate cup of water. Higher doses, 500mg+, make me feel light-headed, talkative, active, mildly motivated, and euphoric.I would also recommend this to anyone who suffers from regular social anxiety. Try taking a 300-500mg dose before going to a party, you might feel better about it.Does not pair well with alcohol or kratom.

This will be my 3rd product by Purisure. I have been impressed so far by the results and reasonable pricing. I hope that does not change with this company as it grows. When addidng L-Theanine powder I have a noticable but calming added energy to my workout without jitters or crashing. I put it in my pre-workout drink mix that includes Beta Alanine and Citrulline (also Purisure Products) which are highly effective for me. Hopefully this helps any one looking for an improvement in their health and wellness goals.

So far I've had a great experience with the product, I feel that it does exactly what is described; I'm more focused during my workouts. I've had to play with the dosage a little because theres not a measurement provided. But overall it's a great product.Update: this company is really great and easy to work with. They offered me a freebie product, and while they didnt have the same one in stock at the time they let me try one of their other products. Just got it in the mail today and I'm so excited to try their alpha gpc which will work well with the theanine.

I have ordered from here twice now and both are great. Cheaper than capsules by far and just as effective, never noticed a taste. I use it for keeping myself calm throughout the day and to avoid the spikes/crashes of caffeine. It also seems to keep my blood pressure lower than usual, I've noticed this over years of Dr appointments and testing myself at the free ones.

This is the first time I have used bulk L-Theanine instead of capsule form. Very happy I chose to do it this way. As you can see I use a miligram (accurate to .001 - purchased here on Amazon for like $18) scale and weigh out 200-400mg (still experimenting with dose). I dumped the L-Theanine powder into a shortie mason jar as you can see; much easier to use than the bag.The taste is very mild. At first I was trying to mix the powder with something for consumption but it's so tasteless/mild that lately I've just been dumping my dose straight into my mouth and washing it down with water. However, if you do wish to mix it, water or yogurt or whatever works just fine. The effects and potency are very good, and I definitely know it when I've taken it. As everyone else has stated, L-Theanine pairs excellently with caffeine. I've been having very vivid dreams lately (in a good way) and I think that taking this supplement has played a part in that. I will certainly check out this vendor again if I ever want to purchase more bulk supplements in the future. Thanks for a great product.

Been taking this for a couple of weeks now along with other supplements to make my own pre-workout. This was the last ingredient I added and boy let me tell you this brought my workouts to a different level, tasteless and odorless, great value definitely buying more

Very effective for me and the quality is great. Since it gets clumpy in liquid, and I don't need a ton, I just put the powder in my mouth and wash it down with water lol works better for me that way. I have been getting this specific one for years now and am pleased with it
