## Description

Hatching Instructions: Add 1 liter (1 quart) of water into a clean container, add 1 teaspoon(1 gram) of brine shrimp eggs; Plug in air pump to start aeration; After 1 hour of rehydration, add 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of sea salt and keep aeration on; 18~20 parts per thousand (ppt) salt solution, or around 1.018 specific gravity as measured with a hydrometer. Be sure to use marine salt or solar salt; Keep temperatures between 80-82 °F (26-28 °C); maintain a pH of 8.0 or above and eggs should normally hatch in 18-36 hours; After eggs hatch, turn off aeration, direct a light source at the bottom, wait 5-10 minutes for shells to float to top and baby shrimp to swim to bottom; The warm incubation temperatures and metabolites create ideal conditions for a bacteria bloom. Rinsing of the baby brine shrimp under fresh water or salt water is important before feeding them to fish. Feeding Guide: Feed up to three times daily, using ONLY as much as you fish can consume within a few minutes. Remove uneaten parts after.Guarantee Analysis: 60% Protein, 24% Fat, 4.4% Ash, 8.5% Moisture Specs, 90% Hatch Rate Storage: In a tightly sealed container after opening; Store in a dry place and Be Free from moisture; Refrigeration is recommended or cool environment (below or at 40 °F); We recommend that upon receiving your eggs, dividing them into an amount that will be consumed within three to four weeks and storing this amount in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator; the remainder should be stored, also in a tightly sealed container, in the freezer. Keep in mind that freezing can lower metabolic activity and delay hatch-out. We suggest removing egg from the freezer one day in advance of using it.

Review: High Quality - Don’t Listen to the Bad Reviews - This was my first time ever hatching brine shrimp and I had great success. I believe the bad reviews are from those who did not hatch properly or optimally. Here’s exactly what I did for my first time with probably a 90% + hatch rate after about 30 hours. Use sea salt. 25 grams per liter of straight tap water, aged if wanted but don’t use dechlorinator. If you don’t have a scale, 1 tablespoon per liter will work. Use between 1/4 and 1/2 teaspoon of eggs per liter. Less eggs typically yields a better hatch rate. I use 3 scoops with a 1/8tsp scoop in this video. High flow/circulation. The eggs need to be tumbled with lots of oxygen! Use an air pump with a piece of airline tubing, no need to restrict the airflow. Light. The eggs need BRIGHT light for at least the first few hours but as much as possible is best. Warmth. The eggs hatch best between 75f - 80f. Any lower than 75f and hatch time will be longer and hatch rate can decrease. It’s really as simple as throwing a tablespoon of sea salt into a liter of water in a plastic bottle with an air pump for circulation. Keep them warm and bright and you’ll have babies in about 24 hours.
Review: First attempt successfully - Hatching beautifully- package came sealed extremely well, no hatching instructions but for obvious reasons. All you need is reef salt (you can get it cheap online in small qtys or at a pet store) water, an airstone, and air pump ( a 20$ hatching kit comes with all that minus salt) and 48 hr later you’re going to have brine shrimp hatching.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do i need to use marine salt, or can i use pickling salt or aquarium salt?**
A: You can use pickling salt as long as it is uniodized. I use it all the time. Dechlorinate your water and add baking soda to raise the pH.

**Q: Should these eggs be floating? Aren't brine shrimp eggs supposed to sink to the bottom? Mine wont sink no matter what.**
A: They float at first until they absorb water. You need a bubbler to keep the water moving continuously.

**Q: Can they hatch and live in freshwater ecosystem**
A: No! Need brine

**Q: What is too hot to have eggs delivered? Its 100+ everyday here right now and im worried about the eggs sitting on the porch/in a truck**
A: Don’t matter …they still need salt water to hatch. Once you get them keep them in the fridge

### ⭐ Questionable Product (Roll of the Dice)
*by A***S on 5 September 2025*

I have mixed feelings about this product. I have purchased this product on four different occasions. I have received pretty good result from only one of the purchases. on the first purchase the product produced as promised, with a high/impressive hatch rate. As for the second, third, and fourth purchases, this product was an absolute let-down. The hatch rate was disappointing to say the least. No matter what variant of supporting products use the results were the same (Horrible). To put things in prospective, from one .05 oz packet it produced barely enough Baby Brine Shrimp (BBS) for a partial feeding. From the Two 1oz packets the results a were just as disappointing. For transparency, Purchase 1: I used mediterranean sea salt (MSS) along with this product (Very good results). Purchase 2, 3, and 4: I tried the MSS again this time the process produced no noticeable hatchling. Then I tried the product with aquarium salt, and then marine salt which also failed to produce a noticeable improvement to the number of hatchlings. So, based on my observation/opinion I think the product deserves the rating of one star for now.
