For most folks this will probably not be an issue. I was buying this as an extra pan for the camper. I showed him the new one and he didn't like it. For his purposes he wants a pan where the handle when in use, comes from the bottom of the pan (like our current pan,with a permanent attached fold up handle), this handle attaches from the top of the pan, I know this sounds crazy.
