LG V20 Case, VRS Design [High Pro Shield Series] Brushed Military Grade Protection with Metal Kickstand (Dark Silver)

I recently bought my LG V20, though I love the phone, I find the design a bit MEH, or at the least so so. I do love the all metal design etc.my problem is I kind of hate the gray/Titan color "Just MY opinion". It's not LG's fault..I'm with T-Mobile and it's the only color they offer. No Silver. :( To fast forward I first bought a couple clear TPU type cases..one was a Spigen..and one was another brand. I did actually accidentally drop my phone once and the clear tpu case totally protected it. I think though had I dropped it from a higher height or on a sidewalk getting out of my car, I'm not sure my poor V20 would have survived at least without a scratch/dent or two. In any event I wanted a little more protection and I wanted a case that looked GREAT so I don't have to stare at the gray back cover anymore, I kept seeing this VRS case and I just decided to get one. After-all $15.99 is not all that much to protect an $800 phone up or down a few dollars. Book short I LOVE, LOVE this case. To me my phone now looks much more expensive and elegant...the protection seems to be top notch for a case with such little bulk. The cutouts are super precise and I like the silver metal band that goes around the case. I suppose the metal like band is actually plastic, but looks like metal to me. The case fits better than a glove and again to me makes my LG V20 look like an expensive phone and much less boring looking. I will agree it's a bit dopey that the kickstand makes makes the phone sit on the volume controls..but frankly that just does not bother me. I dunno,I think this case is a definite 5 star case..and in my opinion will make your V20 look even better than without any case on it! Seems VERY well made!

This is a nice looking case, well built and rugged. It fulled envelops the LGv20 perfectly, and has a pretty robust lip around the screen to help protect it when it lands face down.The main downsides are the orientation of the kickstand and the volume button cover. The kickstand, when used, puts the volume buttons on the bottom, instead of the top. A glaring oversight of any phone case. But my main beef is that it seems it doesn't line up with the volume buttons properly. Whenever I try to turn up or down the volume, it seems that it does the exact opposite instead. I can't control the volume with the buttons on this case, opting instead to use the on screen slider when adjusting volume.Even with the negatives, I'll give this case probably a few moths before I seek a different one.Pro's:Case is robustMaterial is durableSignificant lip around the screen to protect screen down dropsCon's:Volume buttons don't line up properly or don't toggle properlyKickstand orients the volume buttons on the bottom when in use

This is made of the harder sturdy rubber plastic. Flexible but not flimsy or paper thin with a hard plastic skeleton on top of it ( like almost every case out there, I am so sick of those). No, this is a one piece case that fits tight and feels good in the hand. The kickstand is not cheap either, it's really metal and clicks in place when it's at full open like it should. This thing should be 30 bucks not 15! I love it and I buy a lot of cases, I have a lot of phones and have for ten years. This also protects the edges. The V20 is military grade tough but who wants a metal body phone all scratched up? Not me. Great buy. I would highly recommend this product.Note: there are reports of the glass around the camera pod on the back breaking if impacted on the V20, I haven't seen one but that doesn't mean it can't happen. This case does NOT cover that glass area on the back of the V20 but you can't or the components back there would not function. So if your a V20 owner be aware of that glass back there and try not to smack it on anything!

I don't know what I expected. Well, in a word, I didn't expect much from the kickstand. It's thin and small. If you don't touch it, it works. If you want to touch the screen, well, it's not exceptionally strong. With that said, my complaint isn't with the kickstand, because as I said, I didn't expect much.What I have a big problem with, though, is the headphone jack port. I'm used to headphone ports being too small for some things. I accept that when you've got a large input jack, and you want to use a case... well, there are limits. But this is barely adequate for any of my pairs of headphones. I've yet to get the B&O preorder headphones, but when that happens, I'm not going to be surprised to learn that those only barely fit, either.There's small, and there's too small. Still, I'm not going to return the case until I find something better, and even then, other than that issue it's not a terrible case.

I bought this case with high expectations. The main thing was that I loves the look and the benefit of the kickstand when watching Netflix or slingplayer. The good thing is the case looks very premium and has great protection from drops. The thing I didn't like is that it makes the phone seem so bulky and the kickstand is weak. The kickstand holds to the case by a magnet and is very secure,but when you actually use it is where I have a concern. The weight of the phone causes the phone to tip over with a slight touch of the phone. The weight distribution is off. It seems if the kickstand was moved up the back of the case a few millimeters it would stop the phone from tipping over. Overall the case looks awesome and provides superior protection, but average on kickstand function.Its like a 3.5 rating, if kickstand was better, it would be a 5 star.

This is a good looking case for protection. Thick enough to take care of the camera bulge, but not too bulky. Kickstand is a nice feature and one that I was looking for. Raised bumpers on the front to protect display. I recommend getting a screen protector to prevent scratches.My only con is the lack of color selection. There are not a lot of cases available for the LG V20 yet and most are either clear or black.I recommend this case if you are looking for a nice case that is not bulky.
