You can angle the blades to areas that need light. Having mounted mine centrally as the main light for the garage space, I will also add spotlights above the workbench. If you have a smaller garage or mount above the workspace you will be fine with one of those alone. Note the high wattage of 200W - heat is not concentrated too much around the fitting (which are not rated this high) because it comes out as light and heat is dissipated pretty well from the extended wings vs a 100W spot bulb which would heat up the fitting a lot. I can’t speak for lifespan or durability because it’s new but I’m satisfied with the performance and quality and it’s working well.
