The grape flavor is great no complaints on that. I have been looking for a preworkout that doesn’t get me too jittery but keeps me focused and energized for lifting. This hits the nail on the head. The L-Theanine helps calm the intensity of the caffeine. All ingredients are labeled unlike those “proprietary blends” in other preworkouts that make you feel twacked out. Zero calories so it works well with intermittent fasting. Gave a scoop to my friend who’s been trying many different pre-workouts and got a text from him 45 min later when he was at the gym freaking out how much he liked it and how he was getting the best lift in a while; my lifts have been amazing on it as well. No crash whatsoever so if you read a review about it giving a crash then that is clearly from a competitor of sorts but that is a load of bull. Overall recommend if you are willing to spend a little dough, otherwise you can buy all the individual supplements yourself and make your own mix. Previously I used Amino Energy by ON and that one is good too but I prefer having the L-Theanine in the mix and I take my own BCAAs separately. It’s also designed to be suitable as a coffee substitute for your mornings not only for working out. I’m a supplement/nootropic person and I can attest that these are all great supplements and high quality so I can understand why the product is expensive, but so are most preworkout mixes.

So the effects of the pre-worout were pretty good, if you are used to the extreme jitters that other ogre-workouts give you, this will not do this. however the jitters can be nice sometimes because you can tell that they are working, sometimes I couldn't tell if it was just my brain telling me I had energy because I took it, or if it actually made me more energetic. now that being said if that was the only problem this easily would have gotten a 5 star review, however the taste of the grape was possibly one of the worst flavors I have ever tried. I'm not sure if it can't taste any better because it is zero calories and for fasting, but there was just something off. I wish I could try another flavor, except the price point for one of these (only 21 servings compared to most that do 30) makes me not want to just try it! However, I do really like Gregory O'gallagher and his fitness routines are some of the best out there. hope this review helps anyone looking to purchase this item.

I've used octane for about a month and overall I'm satisfied with it. I feel like it gives me a nice boost of energy and helps with my lifting workouts. I bought the grape flavor and thought the taste was good. My only complaint is the cost. $39 for 21 servings seems a little expensive. However, with that in mind I will be buying more.

I use this before workouts, it helps with energy but has a bit of a powdery taste. I got the grape but the flavor is very subtle. Overall, pretty good.

Really disappointed by this. Nowhere near the kind of energy I've gotten from other products. I don't want to promote any other companies here, but it really isn't hard to find something better.INSANELY overpriced, and while it doesn't taste bad (I got grape), the flavor is over-hyped by a long shot. I don't judge a supplement by taste, but when you hear as much about the amazing taste as you get when you read about Octane, it's disappointing.Greg himself is always talking about doing "two scoops of octane"....that's freaking 10 SERVINGS for $40! If this product wasn't being pushed by someone with a fan base that would blindly buy anything the guy offers, it would have one star. The fan boys are keeping this on the shelves for sure.It's purely the complete lack of performance that makes this a one-star for me. Even if you somehow like this stuff, there's only a few actually useful ingredients in there that you could buy individually in bulk and make your own for a fraction of the price. Throw some cool aid mix in there, and you'd have a drink that actually tastes as good as people are saying, too.

I like the effect of this supplement and how it’s not trash like the stuff they put in other pre workout. But man is the grape flavor hard to swallow. Will try another flavor next time.

It only tastes a little bland because it isn't loaded with sugar like all the other pre-workout supplements. I got great energy and focus from this product and felt no crash after my workout.
