I was a little surprised about the scent but I just like a stronger vanilla extract when baked in so it functions well if you're wanting to use less vanilla extract for the same flavor I had no leakages, though it is packaged in a way where it could leak. It is not taped off, it has one thin seal on the outside of the lid

Title says it all. Rodelle’s has a robust and natural vanilla flavor. I much prefer this brand over “Madagascar Vanilla Bean Paste” with the green label. I bought this to make my own vanilla syrup for coffee. I used to leave the house JUST to go get an iced coffee. Or, if I was out of the house, I would say, "hey, since I'm out..." But not anymore! I would MUCH rather make my own. It tastes SO much better and the ingredients are simply; coffe and syrup (which is water, sugar and this vanilla bean paste.) No nonsense. No artificial or "natural" flavors, preservatives, etc. I will continue to buy this and recommend to everyone! And just so everyone can enjoy like I do: Vanilla Syrup for coffee: 1cup sugar 1cup water Boil until sugar is dissolved Turn off heat Stir in 1 tbs Vanilla Bean Paste Let cool Put it in a mason jar and store in the fridge! Easy! Thank you Rodelle for a great product!
