For the price, it cannot be beat, and the performance is insane.
Just purchased this computer for school and a little bit of gaming, and wow... what a remarkable machine! Runs any game I throw at it with no problems, and never seems to break 100fps on the frame rate (Fallout 4 runs at around 140fps, for example) See full detailed review belowAlright I purchased the 16gb, 500gb m.2, GTX 1070 Max-Q, i7-8750H version of this selection. Some background on myself, I have been working on computers since I was a small boy, and I have built several high performance desktop systems, repaired/built dozens of laptops, and generally know my way around software manipulation. First off allow me to shed some light on the components, because some may question if this is real or some kind of scam (considering the price we have come to expect from MSI, ASUS, etc for the same specs). I can say with certainty that it is 100% everything they have advertised, I didn't have the computer for more than a few minutes before I opened the chassis and inspected the components (Sorry Prostar, I'm meticulous). The CPU is indeed an Intel coffee lake i7-8750H, the GPU is Nvidia GTX 1070 Max-Q (although it does have an integrated Intel UHD 630 GPU as well), RAM is one 16gb DDR4 stick made by Goldkey (there is room for one more stick), and the hard drive that came with mine is a WD Blue M.2 500gb 3D NAND SSD (fantastic option for a stock hard drive). First thing I did was install a 2.5" Sandisk 512gb 3D NAND SSD, which fit like a glove and worked just fine with the included mounting hardware, which is also a problem: This chassis will not accept any 2.5" hard drive over 7mm thick!! I tried installing a 2.5" WD blue 1TB HDD (which is 9mm thick), and it would not fit for all the tea in china. No worries though, I found a good deal on the Sandisk, and went that route.Disassembly: Since there does not seem to be any place saying how this you access the hard drive compartment, here you go: First removed all the screws from the bottom of the laptop (no, there are none hidden under the rubber feet), then flip the laptop right side up and open it like normal. Pry up the keyboard by gently moving along the back edge (facing the screen) with a plastic panel tool, and it will rotate from tabs on the front (space-bar side of the keyboard). Warning: if you try to pry up the FRONT of the keyboard (again, the side with the space-bar) you will break something!!. Once the keyboard is off, you can remove the three contact strips, and remove about 5 more screws. Then you flip the keyboard over, and the bottom cover will lift straight up with no problem (some resistance is normal, there are some plastic tabs keeping it in place, but it shouldn't be anything that requires a lot of pressure to remove)Final thoughts: for the price, this computer cannot be beat. You are getting a solid piece of up to date tech, that will most likely run any program or game for the next 5 years with ease.

Great alternative to the $2000+ competitors!!!!
Without a doubt a great value! Love the form factor! Keyboard and track pad are decent. Only problems are the screen isn't very bright but its a great display for gaming either way! Also the overheating is a real problem! I under clocked the cpu by 100mv and its still scorching hot! Also while the build quality is mostly metal the plastic parts on either end at the bottom of the display are pretty bad qaulity and are cracked pretty bad on my unit after just a couple weeks of carrying its around in my backpack but that could be partially my fault.

More power than the Xbox One X in a tiny form factor
This little rig is by far the coolest gaming machine I've ever had the pleasure of owning. It blasts through all games at 1080P max settings, 1440P max settings, and even games at 4K resolution with high/ultra settings (depending on the game). The RGB keyboard is full-sized with a num pad and the keys feel quite sturdy. I do have a minor nit-pick as one of the keys pops off of my keyboard if pressed in the wrong spot, but all other keys appear to be fine and the issue can probably be fixed with some super glue. The 4K matte display on this thing is truly stunning and I can't really do it justice by just talking about it. Once G-Sync is up and running, it's truly a sight to behold. If you're a PC gamer who has never seen a high powered rig running a G-Sync display, look no further than this item.

Functions as intended. A bit hot, but that's what I expect from an overkill graphics card. Runs the Oculus Rift pretty smoothly! I think I had to disable a part of the preinstalled touchpad drivers in Regedit too keep my system from bluescreening so often, however. For the price, I'm more than willing to accept that as a flaw

Get reeeeeally hot under stress
Gets real hot and the power brick provided isn't strong enough to get the full performance out of it. That being said, pretty solid.

Not too bad.
This isn't showing as verified, due to prostar making a custom listing for me. Specs are identical to this one except the following:32gb ddr4Upgraded wifi2 year warrantyUpgraded thermal pasteFirecuda Hdd500gb wd gen 3 nvmeThis is a slim laptop and it gets HOT. Undervolting cpu helped slightly, but cpu temp will on occasion hit 93. Normally it's around 75-80. Graphics will NOT get above 70 in eve online or overwatch.I have yet to play games using the screen on the laptop. I have a HP Omen 25 hooked up via display port mimi, and never see below 144fps.Fans? Yeah they are loud. I ended up getting a laptop cooler as well.Cons:Keyboard, not a big fan of it at all. You can change the colors etc. Not a big deal to me though.150w Power brick. System power draw nears 150w at times. According to hwinfo64, my max has been 148.947W. Wonder if a 180w is a more viable option. Will update as time goes on, I have only had it a week so far.
