**Q: what are the dimensions of this item ?**
A: I measure 9.5 inches from side to side at the bottom of the bag, and 4 inches from front to back (because it is not structurally rigid, those two measurements can be augmented somewhat).  The height of the completely enclosed portion of the main compartment is 9 inches; 2-inch "ears" protrude above the enclosed compartment on both sides.

**Q: Why there are images and reviews for other bags mixed with teh ones for rothco canvas ammo shoulder bag? it is so confusing.**
A: Sounds confusing for as well, seems like an Amazon problem to me.

**Q: Would a Macbook fit (9" X 12.5")?**
A: The inside dimension of this bag is 11"W x 8"H x 3"D. There is some flexibility in the height since there is some adjustment in the closing flap. There is no adjustment in the width. In my opinion, a Macbook (9" X 12.5") will not fit.

**Q: Does this use velcro?**
A: Yes...the 2 front pouches do have Velcro closure, the large main compartment doesn't.
