Banpresto Dragon Ball Z 8.7-Inch Goku Figure, SCulture Big Budoukai 5 Volume 1

This figure is amazing! I never heard of Banpresto before, but after looking at other customer pictures of this figure I bit and bought it. The raw power of Goku is perfectly captured in this figure. Straight out of the fight with Freeza we have Super Saiyan Goku showing his warrior power. The sculpting is superb and the paint applications are clean. Best of all is you are getting a large figure for a great price. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Even the box is awesome and gives you an idea of what other figures would be within scale of this figure. Now I'm tempted to get the Bardock figure. Banpresto has made a fan out of me.

The figure is just out of this world. It stands pretty tall.and tye detail on it is just so precise. The pose he's in makes him look really great and the expression in the face tips it off. The rip in the pants is another detail I looked into and it makes him look even better. Overall the figure is a perfect figure and the best thing to buy if you're a DBZ fan.

This figure has exceeded all expectations, would highly recommend this figurine for anyone who likes Dragon Ball. It sits nicely on my desk and I can't stop looking at it, detail is exquisite and great solid build quality all round (besides a rather flimsy stand). Looking forward to when the other figurines in this series release and will be purchasing them too.

Now if you're reading this review you're probably in the place I was. The figure looks fantastic! But looking at the reviews you see a scary number of people reviewing about terrible quality knock-offs from sellers that are pretending they are selling the real Banpresto figure. I decided to risk it and make sure I bought a product from a Japanese seller (Nano Japan).The figure I got was indeed the genuine Banpresto figure, in all its great quality glory. So, as a guide to you potential buyers, buy from a Japanese seller (or the same seller I bought mine from) to get the genuine product. Be wary of much cheaper figurines and those from Chinese sellers.My only complaint about the figurine is that the blood looks more brown/like dirt rather than red.Good luck!

this is amazing for the price, looks like it could easily go for twice as much. the sculpt is great, and the real high point. the paint job itself is simple (doesn't have the cool shading you see it more elaborate dbz pieces), with some cool painted on details that work well with the anime style. the stand is a little cheap looking, which is probably the only turn-off, but the sculpt is large and lively enough that the stand doesn't distract.

I was a little worried about the price, because of how detailed the figure seemed. When I received the package I was not let down. It is beautifully sculpted. The attention of detail was awesome. My only negative comment was the blood color looks off.
